They don't have a striker playing, that's the problem. When Taarabt is your most forward player you're going to struggle - he's trying to do way too much. It seems like he doesn't want to have a shot on goal unless he's done a few cruyff turns, stepovers and cartwheels or it's from a ridiculous angle 30+ yards out.

Indeed, he was seen as completely overrated his first season there. All his stepovers and sh*t were never coming off. Also does anyone else remember how completely useless Drogba was when he first went to Chelsea? He was a right donkey to start off with.

As far as I remember the short while I was receiving it the only criteria to continue getting it was that I had to apply for a certain number of jobs. I don't think you HAVE to accept the first job you get offered.

There's no statutory breaks for a shift under 6 hours. Soul destroying? Degrading? I was on JSA for just under a month in between my last job and my current one, I didn't find it embarrassing - I was entitled to it and I knew I was actually going to be getting back into work as soon as possible. The telling moment for me was when I when in for the last time to tell them I had just taken a job, and the woman was shocked I'd found one so quick.

You don't honestly believe that do you? I'm not talking 12 hour days, just 2 or 3 hours a day would do. Plenty of time to look for work...especially considering the job centre do a lot of the work for you as long as you're actually WILLING to take a job, rather than waiting for the "perfect" job to come along.

I've often wondered why those who are on job seekers aren't given some sort of community service jobs to do. Plenty of graffiti to scrub off, litter to pick up or gardens to tend to.

Adkins said there was a meeting to identify targets a few weeks back. As for tapping up players...I hope our club never goes down that route.

Maybe, but this was about 3 or 4 days ago now I think. They were probably just getting ahead of themselves - doubt we've even agreed upon a fee with his club.
