The Cortese Tax - OFT probe into firms 'profiting from plastic'
Saint_clark replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Yeah, what f*cking difference does it make if you pay the £3 as "tax" or included in the price? At least this way there IS a way to avoid paying it. -
Harsh, he didn't get 22 caps for no reason. I'd say he's as good as our current options at RB at least.

Best, Ranger and Lovenkrands are all better though.

Him, Sarmiento and Gasmi were all awesome on FM. Reckon we missed a trick.

SAINTS CELEBRATE 125 YEARS at the Mayflower Feb 13th 2011

I'm not holding my breath tbh. Osman has never struck me as professional and Lawrie has proven himself to be anything but over the last year. (Disclaimer - I am not in any way taking away from what Lawrie has done for our club. He is still a true legend). -
There is a reason the likes of Rodrigues and Channon are still involved with the club and the likes of Le Tissier and McMenemy are not. The former have not been mouthing off in the press. Obviously some people are being absolute retards in their comments about Le Tissier, but these are few and far between. If Matt and Lawrie stopped moaning in the papers they'd have more of a role at the club - that is what the majority of us are saying.

I still think it should be "The Markus Liebherr St Marys Stadium", nevermind the training ground.

Ryan, Paul to name two.

He really wasn't that bad. People just remember him for giving that penalty away in the play-offs.

There are only 3 stickies at the mo - and i'm quite interested to know whether Osman, McMenemy and Le Tissier focus on the event or whether they stay true to form and slip in a few digs about Cortese. -
American Football: Why so many breaks?!
Saint_clark replied to Saintandy666's topic in General Sports
Because whenever possession changes hands they have to swap every single player on the field, and because in between every play the quarterback has to tell his team-mates which one they're using and the defence has to get set up accordingly. -
Loan period to open.. Do we have a deal lined up?
Saint_clark replied to Saint 76er's topic in The Saints
Well for one thing he didn't play against Exeter, but even so I still can't remember him being "all over the place" except a couple of times right at the start of the season. -

I can't agree with your assessment of Jaidi at all - he's been a rock when he's played this season. Him and Fonte are first choice for me with Seaborne coming in when we have two games in a week. -

Martin looked like the ideal one earlier in the season, still baffled as to why he was suddenly dropped. He's 21, not exactly too young to be involved. -
Cortese clarifies the current position (Daily Telegraph)
Saint_clark replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Unless they made a ridiculous demand, we told them to get lost and the previously lower offer was now the highest offer.
