Just watching an interview with Kelvin on Saintsplayer - the play area you can see in some of the pics was paid for by money raised by the players wives, who got sponsored to jump out of a plane. They came up with the idea last year when they visited the hospital and the kids weren't allowed to play on the old area because it was so old and run down.

Hmm...if you believe that Pardews training schedule was a rigorous during last season as it was in the off season, then that's up to you - I can remember when I read about them doing the bleep test in the baking Italian summer that I didn't envy them at all. Remember, the statement saying that Pardew would not be sacked came out not long after the season ended when players would have been on a break.

That's Doble on the left, not Mills. There was also no Butterfield, Connolly or Seaborne - I wouldn't read too much into who was there and who wasn't.
