Perspective can be a wonderful thing. From where you all sit I can see both sides of the argument and (when the loonies drop the stupidity) I can see real merit in both arguments. (After all I was one of the poor sods trying to pay a near 20% Interest on my Mortgage back at the end of her time). It's when you step away from "just the UK" that you see how she made a real impact. My fiance & her family in Poland & their neighbours simply cannot comprehend what they have seen on their TV's from the UK. To them she was a hero. So today's big rant seems to be the fact that 10million quid is being taken out of Public Funds to pay for the funeral. At a time when Hospitals are closing and and and... How strange that 10 million is a figure worthy of a rant. No doubt many of the ranters have also congratulated PDT for taking over the Football Club that "stole" close to 80 million of Public Funds...
