  7. Strewth. You DID spend a long time with the Hostie then. WTF did Mrs EoA think of THAT?
  8. GET IN!!! RESULT! WOOT! I just discovered a Case of OSH that I had forgotten all about! Thought I'd run out - hence the Pedigree switch. So new tactics - starting with the chilled Pedigree & have OSH on the bench in the Fridge in case
  9. How was the hangover Sunday morning? How much for the pic of you & the Hostie? Time to crack the day's first Pedigree
  10. Big shout out to the 50 fans who cycled to the game with the Saints Foundation. Should have made around 25,000 from that Excellent effort in rubbish weather
  11. Think it is more tactical Butters crosses from deeper (NA mentioned it some time ago) and without a proper wide man out there may not have wanted Richardson bombing so far forward - also others mentioned Palace play wide men
  12. Txt in from my mates about 45 mins ago
  13. Wow REALLY did not expect that. Now have to pray we don't lose Cork or Hammond
  14. Big tactical decision looming. Do I rush to a 3rd supermarket in a desperate attempt to find some frozen (hell even fresh) Broad Beans to go with the luverly joint of Gammon that is slowly simmering in a Cider Stock? If I do that I'll miss the big build up. There's also a huge risk I'll have to walk past the Frozen Chicken Cabinet. God, I wish I was Nige only worrying about the MF permutations.
  15. I see they had another Open Top Bus Tour today Thx stl
  16. Totally agree - hence the chasing down comment. BUT those on odd occassions it was enough that even FMDP watching a stream at work pinged a msg "what's wrong with Lambert today he looks so slow". (And although I am sure he was having trouble seeing clearly Eric commented on it in the pub as well - even WITH the juddervision we had in the first half!

And of course the current one - stop nancying about with this fancy passing bollix get rid of it... Saints fans are not complete unless they can moan

    Guly

What we need is someone with access to opta stats (or whatever system we use)..... That should shut a few up I would imagine
  19. Big news for today? I am NOT COOKING FARKING CHICKEN. Thank FOOK for the point against the skates, if we'd lost that I would have been doomed for all eternity. Also, bit weird having a game on a working day (down here) makes for a very strange build up. ............Davis.............. Butterfield/Richardson ... Jose...Jos.... Fox SDR/Guly.....DH...JC.......AL ......Sharp.....Lambert/Guly Martin, Chappers, Puncheon/SDR, LB, Harding (JWP or Falque only if Nige thinks JP has lost the plot again) With MS out Fox is our back up keeper. IF Fox is rested then Bart has to be on the bench. IF Lambert is 100% for both this AND Reading then Guly at RM with Richardson IF not then Guly up front and Butters behind SDR - just don't think SDR & Richardson are a good mix, but FAR prefer Richardson at FB

    Guly

Guly came off just after HT on Saturday. That will make him our most rested player. Chaplow cannot start on the wing as we MUST have CM cover - Chaplow is not fully match fit and hasn't lasted a full 90 since his return, All very well wishing him to start RM but then I wish I could have a night with Jennifer Aniston. Chaplow HAS to be on the bench and fresh in case we get an injury/knock to DH or JC. The ONLY option I can see to that is Chappers STARTING in CM with DH or JC rested for the first 50/60mins ahead of the Reading game. Puncheon has been pants, so I would not risk him from the start - giving him a 20 or 30 min run as an option to SDR - fine. That leaves the key decision - Is RL really fit and worth risking? If he is then it's him & Billy up front with Guly RM. No argument about ability - Nige really doesn't have any other "SAFE" choice. If RL is in need of more recovery time then Guly starts up front with Sharp. Don't like that at all but Sharp & LB really are too similar in buzzing around nudges and flicks (polite way of saying the ball doesn't stick to them). At least when Guly plays up front the ball bounces further off him and sometimes a MF can pick up the loose ball! Tonight's selection is about winning BOTH this AND the Reading game. Nige & the team have to look at what they have available, NOT what some fans want. The same ones giving Guly sh1t now are the same ones who gave Puncheon sh1t. Says it all really
  21. Although to be fair.... He didn't look at his best on Saturday, and on a couple of occassions looked ponderous chasing down loose balls. We put it down to him being "hampered" by his injury. And reading since that he had a pain killing injection before the game, think it is fair to say that at times Saturday he did look lumbering. (But still put in a decent stint)
  22. Oh FFS it's 2:55am Playoff
  23. Some irony if a loud mouthed Yank has destroyed Bubba's chances on 17
