Also, were PKF not going to court to get a ruling that they could sell FP to the trust for £xmil because the trust were the only game in town? The new bid is still a bid, a bid that PKF want to accept so that would mean no need for a court case. The fact that the FL won't accept the new bid would mean that the trust have to offer Chinny what he wants, which of course they can't. Or am I just hoping?
-
Today the creditors accepted the new bid. So if Chinny is behind the new bid ( which we all believe he is ) could he not insist on going through with it? TBs brief is to find the best solution for the creditors in a failed business, not to keep the carcass of a football club going just because they're the bestest. If (Chinny) Harris pays the creditors but don't get the golden share, he'll be able to flog FP at his leisure?
-
I can only imagine that the bid has £x to creditors, £x to football creditors and allow Chinny to have FP as he has a charge on it. It has been the PST's blind determination to hang on to FP that will be what eventually kills them.

I suspect PKF can't believe their luck. They've been running scared of Chinny for a couple of months now, so a new bid that satisfies his remit as administrator to get the best deal for the creditors tied with Chinny pulling all legal action if it goes through must be like manna from heaven. At this point I don't think for one minute they care about the long term future of PFC.

So if this new bid comes to nothing and pkf continue with the court case how on earth are they going to convince a judge that their valuation is fair if they are prepared to offer more this time. You can just see Farmery and his mates stomping around like little children ' it's not fair, I want a club to play with, make them go away Trev"

No, it's all part of TB's cost cutting: "Don't get any points lads we can't afford the petrol for the bus"
-
Couldn't have been the team, they were training in Sheffield yesterday!
-
Come on Bob, keep up. A community owned football club that is not owned by the community but by property developers training at a community sports club that isn't open to the community is just natural. It's the P*mpey way innit

Lots of tweets about our yoof causing bother after the game, throwing bricks at families with kids. also mentioned here http://thisnorthernsoul.co.uk/index.php/forum/5-general-chat/29630-fighting-after-the-game anyone throw any light on it?
-
I suspect that if the PDT do take over the FL will not throw the book at them re points like they did with Luton. They won't want to be seen causing the biggest bestest fan owned club any grief after the enormous struggle the plucky few endured to own the club.

The council are borrowing the money and giving it to the trust. The council get preferential rates from lenders - and there is no way any institutions would lend the trust anything - and the trust are supposed to pay it back plus the interest plus a little more for the council's trouble. The council is just a facilitator for the loan so it's not actually council funds. That is why they are so adamant about ensuring repayment via the PPs. If the trust default the council get lumbered. I need an extension, wonder if they'll get a good rate for me?

They've been very careful not to publish anything concrete but these little snippets are beginning to leak out, mainly I suspect due to questions being asked by the pledgers. As has been mentioned before I believe it has more to do with not letting on that the biggest community club in the world will be owned not by the community but individuals, the council and one new undisclosed "investor". I think the fans will be lucky to have more than 25% What I wouldn't give to have a gander at the current business plan.

creditors capped the fees at £2.5m.
-
They are banking on using the waived fees should the judge decide that FP is worth more than the £2.75m offered. If there's one thing the good people of Portsea like better than anything it's saying hello with another man's hat.
-
No idea how much but considering he wanted £3mil it must be a decent chunk of it. When you look at the players involved and the contracts they were on TB did a bloody good job getting a settlement at £8m
-
Apparently TB negotiated with Kanu and his payoff is included in the £8mil for football creditors. The trust also believe PKF will waive a good portion of their fees. BTW we seem to have missed the panic on Wednesday when Micah Hall started tweeting that it had all gone tits up because Tricky Trev was talking to a new potential buyer. He has now said that he was mistaken. "I am secured, I will get my money"

I follow him on twitter and for a yank he is extremely knowledgeable about football particularly the EPL
-
His agent should be banned, he drove down with him which shows a complete disregard for both the rules and West Brom. If QPR had any decency they would tell him to go home. But then we are talking saggy.
-
Over on POL one of those close to the trust is saying that Chinny is squeezing PKF and they're scared. why didn't they listen to him before

OK, I'll go with one. Early 80s in London. Had a lock in after lunch ( for you youngsters pubs used to shut at 2.30 back then ) was pretty merry so decided to climb fountain in Trafalgar square. Singing Saints songs, slipped and smashed my head on the bottom. Mate pulled me out from under the water, tried to walk away, collapsed, ambulance called, dozen stitches in back of my head. Happy days

I believe the wording in the rules is that no club can START 2 consecutive seasons in admin which I don't believe was the case with Rotherham, Luton or Bournemouth?
