Am I allowed to mention a name that I don't think is yet in the public domain? A guy who lived 2 doors from me died a couple of years ago. He used to run the Broadmoor social club. Savile was a frequent visitor to his house. My next door neighbour who knew the guy for 20 years has told me tales of Blazers nightclub in Windsor VIP area that used to hold celebrity gatherings where Savile, Glitter, Krankies and AN Other used to entertain youngsters ( even when their parents were downstairs).

That traffic was ridiculous, managed to push in at the front just as the slip road appeared but by then was nearly kick off so just dumped the car down by the Vine. The walk from there along the railway was mad - pitch black and in a lot of places no fence or anything. Got back to the car after the marathon, around the ground route march to find a bloody parking ticket. Not the best away day I've had but everyone was in good voice. Anyone know what happened with that lad and the stewards?

Just got up having got back in the wee hours. TBH, I wasn't expecting to see many first teamers so no problem with that. I was looking to see how many of the squad could step up and show that they could claim a place in the first team to help solve some of the problems. Guly was Ok, all the youngsters showed loads of promise and certainly seemed up for it. Mayuka looked lost. The rest? forget it. SDR seems to have lost the only thing he was good at which is running at people. Chaplow was all huff and puff. Butterfield and Seaborne shouldn't bother pulling a shirt on again. Lee looked bewildered by it all. Leeds weren't that good. A team with SDR, Mayuka, Lee, Guly should have caused them problems. Only when Isgrove came on did we start to do anything. This brings me to Luke Shaw He is a left back. We don't have a solution for a left back at the moment. NA has tried Fox, Maya, Clyne and even little Ben Reeves. He started Reeves last night with Shaw on the bench. WTF is that all about? Reeves was getting battered every time they came down the right. If Shaw isn't good enough to start in a game like last night WTF is he doing in the first team squad? More interference from Les Reed? To be fair for the few minutes he was on Shaw looked OK. It was a long day with a very disappointing performance and to be honest I'm just bewildered by it all.

As I thought, due to the cock up that is the SFC on line ticket site I now have an extra ticket. If anyone is looking to buy one they can have it for face value - without a booking fee!!! Let me know
-
So going to Wham +Arsenal which were always going to sell out because of the proximity is rewarded before Everton and Leeds......
-
On line ticket site up to its usual tricks, woke up this morning and decided to go after all, went on line and after several failed attempts phoned them up to be told there are problems with on line sales. Now having bought one over the phone it appears at least one of my on line attempts did work so I may have a spare if anyone is interested - I won't know for sure til it actually arrives.

Glad to see the mighty Rebels have put Gosport out of the FA Cup tonight Not sure what it is in the water down that way but why is cheating a way of life

Non-league Bashley FC have written to the Football Association requesting their FA Cup first-round qualifying match against Gosport Borough is replayed after a clear goal was missed by referee Will Bull. With the teams level at 2-2, Bashley 'scored' late on after James Stokoe struck from close range, but in frustration the Gosport keeper kicked the ball through the side netting. And, having missed the ball going in, referee Bull then awarded a corner. "We feel cheated," Bashley vice-chairman Tim Titheridge told BBC Sport The incident was also missed by the assistant referee and Bashley went on to lose 3-2 after extra time. It is a mistake Titheridge believes has cost them up to £10,000. "We don't blame the referee for not seeing it, but we do blame the Gosport players for not owning up," he said. Bashley have now written to the FA's competitions department requesting a replay of their replay. "We have also written to Gosport asking them to write to the FA, but we do not expect anything to happen," he added. Bull was being assessed during the game and was told of his error after the final whistle. "He was horrified when the assessor told him he got it wrong," said Titheridge. Titheridge added the assistant referee had been told of a hole in the side netting at half time but did nothing about it. He added: "A number of Gosport players, management staff, supporters and officials admitted that a goal should have been given." Then before the first game against Slough they were moaning about having to play after the draw for the 1st round proper had been made in case they got drawn against Pompey and that would add pressure to their players!! Cheat cheat cheat, moan, moan, moan
