That's what I thought - one guy last night threw a beauty of a right hook and nothing happened. At least at school we'd all gather round and shout "fight, fight"

Perhaps Birch can sell for whatever he wants but the charge will transfer to the new owners meaning Chinny will still have the charge. This is what I suspect is putting potenhtial buyers off ( along with the £millions of other reasons )

Would love it if someone with a lot more creativity than me could do an updated version of this

He didn't say anything of interest, mostly general talk about football finance. The one question he was asked about Pompey he gave the usual " I'm hopeful" but the tone of his voice was " no bloody chance"

Joe Kirkup replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
I will also be peed off if they don't go to general sale having done 11 aways already. Trust the ticket office to change things - at least last year when they were avaialable to STH only you could still buy on line without being a STH. If any STH aren't going would appreciate if I could use your number? -
I have a spare - row 2 in the Kingsland - open to offers

I see 4 Rangers players have accepted a 75% pay CUT - I suppose that's nothing compared to spending a couple of hours in the ticket office or 25% deferral :-)
-
51 - can't remember first game as my dad took me to home games from the age of 4 and when Saints were away he took me to the reserves( used to walk all the way round the Dell on my own ) First away game Spuds 71 I think it was 2-1. Moved away at age 9 but go every other week and most midweeks. Best memory was Orient promotion party in 78

Any old farts recognize themselves?
Joe Kirkup replied to The Majestic Channon's topic in The Saints
Blimey that's the first time I've seen that footage and yes there I am ( from the back only ) awful day in all respects. I remember the thinking was trying to get the game abandoned which was all the rage back then.
