I just love the fact that a club in such crisis who are "so much a part of the community, a community that would be worse off without their beloved football club" HAVE to come up with gimmicks, discounts etc just to get "The Bestest Fans In The World" to even bother to go to a home game. That pathetic sh*thole of a club and its deluded half wit fans deserve each other and I truly hope they all go away for the sake of all the other clubs in the land.

Not so. Only if the player officially asks for a transfer. If the club decide to sell without the player requesting a transfer they must pay up the contract - these payments are usually incorporated into the price the selling club demand for said player

But in all other businesses the ultimate goal is to make a profit - in football's case selling your best players ( even if you have made them better players ) is counter productive to the goals of the club - ie to be more successful.

Can't see this going to General Sale so if anyone can get me a ticket there's a beer or few in it. Cheers

It must have changed a lot since I was a nipper, then it was just pure religion I have no problem with kids being taught some of the values that are incorporated.

As Richard Dawkins suggests, if it was illegal to teach religion until the age of 18, there would be no religion as any sound minded adult wouldn't believe
