  1. Record labels which don't say which side is A or B so you have to hold it up to the light at the right angle to read the runout matrix and even then it's not always obvious. Yes, I'm aware this is a bit niche.

    Coronavirus

What a shambles. They really are incredibly incompetent and out of touch at times.
  3. Just seen this on The Upshot email which is worth signing up for if you like random sporting nonsense you don't always see elsewhere.
  4. Cheers. Phoned them earlier and all sorted. Here's to another season of half arsed attacks and comical defensive errors!
  5. My email said payment online by 19th July. Going to have to ring them tomorrow anyway as I want to use the credit and pay over 3 months which you can't do online.
  6. https://www.change.org/p/euros-2020-managers-rematch-demand-for-italy-v-england 🤦‍♂️
  7. I checked Saka's Instagram about 15 minutes after the game and there were people calling him a monkey under his last post.
  8. To some extent I said. I wasn't that fussed but would have preferred them to win.
  9. No one is going to boo them, certainly not at St Mary's anyway. Pretty much everyone other than some bellends online and a weird Tory MP were behind them to some extent, however when they are playing against us I hope they are utter shit and we walk away with 3 points. There's no way I'm clapping Mason fucking Mount when he walks on the pitch next season.
  10. I largely agree with this. Foden is the only English player I can think of at the moment with the control, technique and vision to dictate a game from midfield although is he actually suited to playing in the middle? Ideally though you need a few players with those skills in the squad like Italy and Spain have. Bellingham could have a big impact in the next few years and offers something a bit different to Rice, Phillips and Henderson.
  11. Cheering players from other teams? No thanks. Even if people do this, how far down the squad list do you go? Does more minutes on the pitch translate into a bigger cheer? Sancho barely played, how much noise do you make for him as opposed to Stones? What about people in the squad who didn't play like Ramsdale?
  12. Might be a few Bella Italia windows put through tonight.
  13. Anyway, back to proper football now. Who's going to some pre season games?
  14. Italy shaded the game. Klinsmann was right, England should have gone for it more after half time and tried to get the second. Mancini's vast managerial experience made the difference.
  15. Did the more experienced England players not want to take a penalty? They threw the youngsters right under the bus there, feel sorry for them.
  16. Hopefully the game is a bit more free flowing than the Copa America final which was largely 2 teams kicking each other.
  17. Pretty sure we can say England's run to the final has been directly related to the structure put in place by Les Reed when he was technical director of the FA. Shouldn't be too long until he is rightly honoured for his services to football.
  18. When England took the knee before the Denmark game the camera cut to Schmeichel and he was pointedly applauding them.
  19. He seems to have the right mix of insight and humour while maintaining the excitement of a normal fan. Jenas and Murphy in comparison just sound bored.
  20. It's either really hard to be a good co-commentator or some of these people have got fantastic agents. Who is listening to Murphy and Jenas and thinking they are anything other than painful? It's got to the point where I'd rather have Lawro going off on his weird tangents than them 2. At least he was entertaining, they are just dull and insipid and hardly ever say something that makes you go "oh yeah, glad to get the inside track from an ex pro on that."
  21. What would happen if one of the teams has a mass covid outbreak like the England cricket team? Would be a mad end to the tournament if someone had to forfeit the final because they had no players.
  22. Did he get injured or was it just a case of them lobbing another striker on? I lost track of what was going on with Denmark's team because of the appalling commentary.
  23. Deserved win. Denmark were fucked with about 15 minutes left and England totally controlled the game from that point on.
  24. VAR isn't really bothered in this tournament. I like it because it gets the game moving but there's times when the use seems a bit slapdash. They'd still be looking at the penalty decision if this was in the Premier League.
