  1. Dignified disaster compared with dishonest dickheads (today boys & girls we are learning alliteration)
  2. Guilty
  3. Having found the link cryptically referred to by Trousers above, the one thing I still can't understand is why was Storrie's case held separately whilst R&M are tried together? Only logical reason I can think of is the payment in question in the current case made to Rosie47 from First Star was simply as agreed between R & M, so no record anywhere in PFC paperwork. If so Storrie could, justifiably have been able to claim no knowledge of it. And maybe harder to prove that it actually related to what we all know that it did relate to. Whereas any transactions Storrie charged with may have had a paper trail back to PFC, but if that was so surely R&M or at least one of them must have been aware of, if not involved with, any of the transactions, but weren't tried with him (or later) on those counts. Curiouser and curiouser
  4. Known as Watts Park or West Park depending on which map you're looking at. Titanic memorial and Aviary is/was at the top of East Park on same side as the coffee shop. Cenotaph is in Watts Park, now along with a few "interesting" sculptures.
  5. This is getting like the end game in The Godfather when all the rivals are hit at the same time during the christening. 'Arry & Mandy in court WUP issued Antonov in court Storrie already "done" but outcome being kept under wraps until... ? Football League "keeping an eye on things" but not making any announcement for now, until....? Is there anyway they can drag it all out until they make all judgements and/or announcements at the same time ?
  6. £100K a token transaction ?!?!?! 'Kin ell !!!
  7. Now, when they say support it .......... Wonder how many of us the court can hold?
  8. He overheard Rosie barking up the wrong tree
  9. This . It's fun to take the **** because they are our local rivals but in all seriousness it is time the authorities take a stand for the sake of the integrity of the game itself .
  10. Altogether now ............. [video=youtube_share;wNHpvQwQByE]http://youtu.be/wNHpvQwQByE
  11. Seems that Corp and BBC South didn't have the same maths teacher.
  12. I love the irony that just before Christmas we went on a Ghost Tour Walk (recommend it by BTW, entertaining evening) around old Portsmouth. It took us past this.
  13. Can a better man than me possibly make a single post sticky of the timeline and main charachters involved over the duration if this thread. Been trying to explain it to Mrs W but end up confusing myself let alone her. Added advantage would be we could all send out the link ans have the story go viral (if we tried it with link to the thread noone is going to wade through all this lot )
  14. Do they really think the "credit card system is down for maintenace , cash sales only at the ticket office " scam will raise enough to pay the wages ?
  15. Let's not count our chickens. FA Cup week again next week. A good cup run with a couple of televised games might bring in enough to tide them over till the end of the season. Oh !

  17. Hmm do we detect a tinsy-winsy bit of jealousy there ?
  18. Your confusing "descendant" with "condescending" Always thought the mother of one of The Monkees done that
  19. You're gonna need a smaller cupboard
  20. Scottish and Irish female accents are the best. South African male the worst. It's weird how you aren't aware of how much of an accent you have yourself until you hear a recording of your own voice. Mine comes out as Southampton with a hint of bumpkin Not really accent but more of a pronunciation issue, I have always pronounced "calm" & "palm" as "cowm" & "powm", and "nearly" so it rhymes with "Burley", not "yearly". No idea where that comes from, no-one else I know pronounces them like it so it's not a local thing.
  21. Were they out enjoying a "Big Gus's Team Building Experience" session ?
  22. There's a fair bit more detail in the brochure that they've produced, but it's still just a vision at this stage. It reads more like an advert for the city aimed at developers. The opposite of "build it and they will come", more like "this is what we'd like, please come and build it"
  23. Just had a listing of the DVD of this removed by Ebay as it breaches their "Violent Materials Policy" And I thought it was about 80s fashion To be fair, if they consider that film violent they need to remove half the DVDs and Videogames they have listed

    Sherlock

Superb television Nope, Series 3 was commissioned the same time as this one, plenty more to come. Hint: He went back to Molly Harper (the pathologist) to tell her she mattered, and he needed her help.
