I can understand the logic of starting him today with Macca in goal, especially considering midweek, as he needs to get rid of the ball upfield so you need some height to win the header and Downs is obviously shite. But it hasn’t worked, hes been anonymous.

Have Labour actually explained how an ID card is going to stop illegal workers compared to a national insurance number and proof of right to work in the uk? The most common method at the moment seems to be uber eats/deliveroo delivery drivers who borrow a legitimate account from someone with the right to work in the uk and the money is shared out between them at the end. I don’t see where an ID card stops that?

I think he gives the ball away too cheaply and too often for Still to consider him a starter until we stop conceding poor goals, particularly on the counter attack. If we can shore up the back line then I would expect to see him get more minutes than he has been since recently.
