Mandatory release for players to their respective countries is the 25th May. How they expect to postpone the game beyond that date is interesting to say the least.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the photo evidence of Will Salt is deemed inadmissible at the hearing as it has been leaked to the public. And all Boro are left with is some grainy cctv, an illegally obtained bank transaction and some eye witness testimony.

It was, and my assumption was that he was the one to normally go and do the spying but for obvious reasons couldn’t go to Boro so sent Salt in his place who turned out to be a complete amateur. That doesn’t appear to be the case now, although I’m fairly sure his LinkedIn still showed him as a currently employee.

As the EFL have already acknowledged in their statement there will be appeals processes. These could take weeks and even months. How can they possibly think anything other than the game has to go ahead as planned next Saturday is a realistic option?

Get them fucking tickets on sale and stop worrying.

All this nonsense talk of “it’s not fair on hull they don’t know who they’re preparing for” 2 years ago we played the second leg on the Friday, and the final was the following Sunday. Was that unfair to have only 8 days to prepare? Their players probably aren’t even back in training yet, they’ll have been given a few days off to recover. Their coaching staff will be preparing to face Southampton. They’re not fucking stupid.
