  1. Says the nugget that called Priti Patel an immigrant.
  2. The start of the process was selling Lallana, Lambert, Shaw and Lovren in one season. Granted we got lucky for a couple of seasons and picked up some gems (who we also later sold) but season by season the replacements got worse and worse until we’re left with a squad that is flirting with relegation year after year until our luck finally ran out.
  3. Any chance we can just forfeit this one?
  4. It goes back further than that. Selling our best players to help strengthen our rivals and replacing them with cheap alternatives will eventually lead to the situation we are in.
  5. We’re probably the only team that couldn’t beat us.
  6. We won’t win a single game until we’re officially relegated when they’ll suddenly remember how to play football.
  7. Not going to miss VAR either
  8. Does anyone think that? Surely most have learned their lesson the last time we said that? In fact does anybody even WANT that? I don’t really want to be back in this league any time soon.
  9. Yep. Catastrophic mismanagement has pissed Marcus’ legacy down the drain.
  10. He should watch us more often then, because nobody else is surprised.
  11. Almost like it’s the players just as much (if not more) as the manager. We’ve had 3 this season and not much has changed. Turgid football served up week after week. In a season with effectively 2 pre seasons it’s criminal.
  12. This team is the worst we have ever had.
  13. Could have said that about 8 times this season.
  14. Stu, Adams and Sulemana on. Do it and do it now you cunt.
  15. The 04/05 squad had a lot more fight than this one, it just lacked any quality in defence.
  16. It’s too little too late to fucking drop him now.
  17. Not sacking Ralph at the end of last season has to rank above all other reasons for me. If a manager has (by the clubs own admission) lost the dressing room then keeping him in the job until the World Cup was a catastrophic decision. Closely followed by the baffling decision to replace him with Nathan Jones when you knew the dressing room was already demoralised, it makes no sense whatsoever. The whole 5 at the back experiments with both managers were terrible. I think the lack of goals and not signing a goal scorer has been a major factor but it would have only prolonged the inevitable when it came to Ralph being sacked. We may have picked up a few better results along the way but ultimately he was on borrowed time from May onwards. I still think we’d be flirting with relegation regardless.
  18. We scored 45 goals that season. Before Friday night we’d only scored 24 this season.
  19. Even Ormerod is better than some in this squad.
  20. Watching the goals back doesn’t reflect well on him either. Although Perraud does him no favours with their 2nd goal. For the equaliser he’s just stood between Nelson and Saka ball watching. If he goes and marks one of them they might not have got their shots off.
  21. He had cramp.

Obviously we would have all taken the result before the game. He deserves the criticism for how it played out though. Arsenal had no cutting edge tonight, they were resorting to diving in the box and just lumping it to the back post and hoping for the best….until he took off Lavia for Diallo and it all fell to pieces in a matter of seconds.
  23. Said in the match thread but it’s worth saying again. He in the best player we’ve had in a good 5 years. Crazy to think he’s only 19. His calmness on the ball is something we haven’t seen since Van Dijk.

I cannot tolerate the decision to being on Diallo. The last player you want on the pitch when your backs are against the wall. Gifted them a goal within seconds of setting foot on the pitch.
  25. Yep. Horrendous decision.
