Here's a thought for those that can't wait.......there will be many 'Good' free signings who will not commit, as they are playing the 'come and get me' game. When the season has started, and have has been running for a few weeks, they will be desperate to get some kind of deal, so waiting may not be so bad. Also, many a bargain has been picked up on the last day of the transfer window.............

So you think it's OK to keep a very old man, who's dying, in jail........but allow some thug who killed for a few pounds, out in 6/7 years. This country has gone to pot, this reasoning is why our old people are scared to walk the streets after 1800 hrs every night. Biggs may be a Crim........but he'd never break into a pensioners house, and beat the sh1t out of them for their pensions.

I did clip this little bit:- I am glad I have a club yes, but that doesnt mean I will be content with mid table League 1 obscurity for th next god knows how many years. Which on the face of it, with our current team looks very likely. We are too weak to compete with the top teams in this league and need to sign quality players who will help us achieve our goal of getting back up to the CCC and then the Prem. You infer that others would be content to languish in league 1......like others, you presume to have all the say, and when challenged on this, take an infantile type of umbrage. Pray show me where anyone on this forum has made a wish to remain in league 1 for 'God knows how many years'.... Now may I take time, to point out something, that is the backbone of all my counter arguments. ML and AP, have both gone on record as saying that they have a 5 year business plan.....phase 1 of this, is putting into place a solid foundation, something sadly lacking at this club for a number of years. This may result in another year in this Division (A Hum!!! -10). Some of us, have accepted this..........but, and please take note here CL, but, we would all love us to be back in the premiership. The question was asked last week by another poster....right at this moment, today, who would you rather be......Saints or Poopey....answer that with honesty mate.

For a start, the driver didn't 'die' as a result of his injury's........he died two years later, and it's been said (but never proven), that this was connected to his injury's. My point would be that nardays, murderers can get ten years and be out in six/seven. The reason he has been dealt with like this....is that he escaped from Wandsworth, and done a thumbs up at the establishment. He has never regretted what he done, and even wrote that in his book. This has been revenge........pure and simple.

I have no beef with you over this.........but it is wearing a bit thin, when every post has the same names, moaning that things arn't happening as fast as they would like. They will happen, at a speed that is complient with what the board/manager wants........so give them a chance.

Listen knob head...........when I said get a job, I was referring to young students, who stay in bed all day until lunchtime, then stay out all night moaning that they have no money. Don't say it doesn't happen, because we both know it does. Get a job, means part time.....my daughter done it, so it's not a great hardship. Play the martyr if you must, but no-body forces people to further education. IMO, it has become the norm for young people, saves having to start work at 16. This thread was about consessions......once again, in this country, people like yourself argue, that the only people that should have to pay a full price for anything, are those in work. I have news for you fella......I work 55 hours a week, my partner works 40, then another 30 in the home, a home that we have worked bloody hard to hold onto.......so tell me again...why those that don't contribute, should get everything on the cheap/free...............come on Mr 'I know everything' ps.....Mr mature student.........get a spell check, it might improve your grades!!!!

You poor boys and girls........not much money given to you by the state...Diddums!!!! Pray tell then, why it is, that you all seem to be able to go out on the town most nights. I work near a large halls of residence, and it is a very busy place indeed in the small hours. Use the time better, get a job, buy a ticket................simple IMO.

MM................I'm really struggling to see where you claim to be a fan. FFS, you are continually moaning, just be grateful that you have a team to support. Look around you pal......clubs are in trouble all over the place, and you keep coming on here, and having your little grizzle. Wake up, smell the roses, greet the new dawn at St Mary's with a smile.

Went to the Lamb Saturday, thanks to the recommendations on here. Food was good, fairly priced, they had a live band.........whilst good, not sure it was a good thing for diners, couldn't converse at all. I would go again. Sorry, didn't notice if they had a kids menu......but it is an extensive menu.

Yes.....but why start another thread on it, why not join the doom and gloom merchants on an exsisting thread. FWIW....sh1te...It has been said a thousand times, give them a chance, they are building for the future. You don't start a house by building the roof first, you put in the foundations, that is what is happening. What topic..............you and a bunch of under 16's want Drums at a football match, those with some gray matter don't. They want to watch the game, without some idiots giving it large on a bl**dy drum. Do a straw poll of other clubs, I think you'll find that most fans hate the bl**dy things.
