A quasi un mese dal suo arrivo al Southampton, Mauricio Pochettino, ex tecnico dell'Espanyol, ha parlato in esclusiva ai nostri microfoni della sua nuova avventura in Premier League. "La Premier è un campionato molto diverso dalla Liga: più aggressivo, dinamico. Si gioca a ritmi alti ogni partita".

"Un grande giocatore gioca bene in qualsiasi campionato. L'ho seguito al Bologna e giocava bene, qui al Southampton sta dimostrando di essere all'altezza della situazione".
Sempre in Italia: la scorsa estate poteva finire sulla panchina della Sampdoria.
"Ci sono state diverse possibilità, ma ormai quel che è stato è stato. Adesso sono felice di essere qua al Southampton".
Da escludere, per il futuro, un'esperienza nel campionato italiano?
"Mi piace il calcio italiano, ho anche dei parenti in Italia. In futuro, perché no..."
