  1. Jordan Cross ‏@pn_jordan_cross Looks like sympathy for #Pompey has worn thin. Fifty Eight per cent on a national radio station poll say the club IS NOT worth saving #WWND
  2. Twitter is awash with chortles at Redknapp coming to the rescue. You see what we'd miss if they actually went pop. Keep them alive!

  4. That's a mighty fine history airbrush that 'Arry's got there....
  5. Does that mean we can withdraw our 'offer' of cash to newco Rangers if FIFA sort the registrations out before the SFA get their act together? Given the desired effect (i.e. speeding up the registration) of offering cash doesn't actually appear to have made any difference.
  6. @officialpompey: Michael Appleton says #Pompey's pre-season defeat to Brighton means nothing: http://t.co/Dy8bJXYW
  7. As long as he's ring-fenced "what he's owed" then I'm sure he'll sanction anything.....hence this thread will run for another 2 years.....until Admin3.... (or is the next one No.4? I lose track....) Edit: but on a serious note, one of the Football League's conditions of Chainrai taking over is that their transfer dealings are scrutinised by the Football League for the next 5 years.....
  8. Does Kanu have a pet dog then?
  9. @jordansibley: @RadhijaidiOff He was last spotted hiding in Nigeria! What do you reckon, could he still do a job?!
  10. ^ This I also suspect the national press would be also interested in your story, especially given recent banking c o c k u p s
  11. @jordansibley: Woke up this morning to an e-mail from a Pompey fan, asked if we could buy Kanu and Ben Haim for £10million to help them out?!
  12. Southampton FC ‏@officialsaints #SaintsFC announce ticketing arrangements for next month's trip to @MCFC: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2859977,00.html Ticket prices for the match at the Etihad Stadium are as follows: Level 1 (Blocks 113, 114 & 115) Adults - £49.00 Under 16s - £27.00 Over 65s - £40.00 Wheelchair/Walking Ambulant plus free assistant - £40.00 Level 2 (Blocks 213, 214 & 215) Adults - £51.00 Under 16s - £27.00 Over 65s - £42.00
  13. It's difficult to tell the difference most of the time :-)
  14. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-supporters-trust-ready-to-do-deals-with-high-earning-players-1-4090299 *cough* because a certain "potential owner" would like to keep the parachute payments for themselves *cough*

  16. Verbal and others raised this very point a while back. What was the point of the football authorities fighting for the retention of the football creditors rules in a court of law, and win the case, only for the likes of Portsmouth to come along and "emotionally blackmail" the very people the Football Creditors rule is designed to protect. There's no point having a law that, when it comes to the crunch, can be side-stepped by players being pressurised into accepting compromises. IMHO of course
  17. @pn_neil_allen: A few recent #Pompey player claims debunked? http://t.co/51I3lYBD "Agent Pini Zahavi is no longer representing him in negotiations, although it is believed former Blues administrator Andrew Andronikou is advising instead."
  18. To be fair, he often quotes other people's 'nonsense', not just his own...
  19. "The alternative for Portsmouth’s players is to be first in the queue of creditors, waiting for up to two years before they are paid out in the aftermath. There is still time for them to make noble and honourable sacrifices, but Portsmouth’s Gang of Eight are not to blame if they see it through to the bitter end." At last...an article that says the players won't necessarily get nothing and that they're not to blame either. I always had faith in that rag...
  20. @officialpompey: Update from administrators: http://t.co/9Rn9ZjV0 #pompey
  21. http://reallylikefootball.com/2012/07/25/prem-rejects-refuse-to-abandon-pompeys-sinking-ship/
  22. @pn_neil_allen: RT @bobbeech: FAO David Lampitt et el while we've spoken about players demands we haven't forgotten YOUR football creditors submission either
  23. I don't think it's humanly possible for our collective faces to get any bluer on that one. The might of the UK media have deemed it unnecessary to ask the Premier League and the PFA one simple question: "Can you 100% guarantee that the Portsmouth players will NOT receive any payments from redirected parachute payments (or PFA funds) in the event of Pompey being liquidated?"
