  1. A pussy that can turn through 360 degrees?
  2. @solentsport: #Saintsfc revealed as one of the 3 Championship clubs who voted against the new Financial Fair Play rules. Leicester & Reading the others
  3. So, using these new Football League rules as a retrospective benchmark, Southampton's reason for going into administration in 2009 was based upon a legitimate endeavour not quite going to plan (new stadium) whereas Pompey's 2 recent administrations were based upon reckless spending on players?
  4. A bit like what people were saying this time last week then...? ;-)
  5. Yep....11am.... http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/60118/notices/1573573/recent=10;category=corp-insolvency-administration;subcategory=meetings-creditors Why do I remember such useless information...? ;-)
  6. 11am rings a bell, but not 100%
  7. @pn_neil_allen: I'll be in attendance at the #Pompey creditors' meeting tomorrow. Bound to be bombshells. Allowed to Tweet so will keep everyone updated.
  8. Indeed. And HMRC still being quoted as being owed less than previously stated...? "Players are due £3.5m in wages and bonuses for the last two seasons, while £2.3m is owed to HM Revenue and Customs. Additionally, £3.7m is owed for general trade." And why no mention of Baker Tilly? I though they were supposed to be looking after the interests of the creditors of CVA1? (as taken over by NewCo) Or is this all covered by the £38m owed to AA in lieu of the purchase of oldCo by newCo? I'm lost
  9. Yay....AA will be at tomorrow's meeting with Birch. Any flies on the wall...? "Of the £58m debt, £38m is owed for the purchase of the club from the previous administrators. A further £10.5m investment made by former owners Vladimir Antonov's Convers Sports Initiatives (CSI) remains outstanding. CSI themselves will be represented by administrators UHY Hacker Young at Thursday's meeting."
  10. @pn_neil_allen: Another sad day at Fratton with yet more redundancies, among them Linvoy. Surely has to be good news at #Pompey soon. http://t.co/LtzRxEXT
  11. Source?
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17839078
  13. No...but there was another Pulis on the radar around the same time... (all a huge coincidence of course...)
  14. All we need now for perfect balance is that photograph of Rebekah Wade at Gordon Brown's missus' pyjama party and we're laughing
  15. That's much better. Cheers. :-)
  16. This highlights one of the great strengths of this forum. The citing of a Daily Mail article when it suits one's point of view whilst slagging it off when it doesn't. Carlsberg don't do human nature, but if they did... ;-)
  17. trousers

    Chelsea

Does this mean we can now sing the Lallana / Messi song with impunity?
  18. What's to stop the Football League "doing a Pompey" and discarding what they said they would do before and coming up with a new arrangement, just for an easy life?
  19. Hello Mr VMAN Just in case I don't get chance before Saturday... Thanks for all the insights this season. Any chance of revealing who you are if we go up or are you going to be the long term 'Stig' of the forum...? :-)
  20. Ah....yes....the Pompey cake that you can have AND eat....all at the same time....
  21. Surely it would be simpler for every Pompey fan to hold back paying £1,000 income tax to HMRC and divert the cash to the Trust fund?
  22. "last day of the season".... does that include play offs?
  23. Yes. It's as legally binding as CVA1....
