Human nature I guess.....come out of the traps on fire and with foot to the floor in the 1st third of the 'race'.... get a little fatigued and/or battle weary and/or complacent during the 2nd third (in other words, take foot off pedal somewhat)......re-group and sprint for the finish in the last third of the race....

I'm registered to that and it has certainly helped reduce the number of calls considerabley over the years. However, when you 'politely' tell cold callers that they are breaking the law they rattle off something along the lines of: "You didn't tick a 'don't contact me' box on a form a while back so we're entitled to call you"....at which point I become less polite....

I see in Nigel's Saints Player interview yesterday afternoon that he was saying how Lallana's had a cracking training session...."twisting, turning, raring to go, back to his best....etc, etc" and then gets asked the obligatory "Will he start tomorrow?" question. Cue the equally obligatory Adkins reply: "We don't want to give anything away to the opposition, do we?". But, having gone to the trouble of telling the world and his dog that Lallana was 'back to his best' before being asked said obligatory question, my reading-between-the-lines of the situation is that Adam will start on the bench.....i.e. he wants Jewell to think that Lallana is starting.... IMHO of course

The whole concept of clubs in the same league being able to loan players to each other is open to 'abuse'. IMO there should be a rule stating you can only do loan deals with clubs in different divisions/leagues. Nice and simple.
