  1. "‘It’s a wonderful football club with wonderful supporters. It’s a club which shows the English way better than any other. ‘It represents England better than Chelsea – better than any club." Nurse! Facepalm for Trousers!
  2. Was just thinking the same. Maybe as many fans as possible could wear the Luey Sharp foundation t-shirt for that game. Would be a great gesture of support for him.
  3. Had to stop reading that half way through. Heartbreaking.
  4. 7 pages
  5. I've still got a hunch that 'someone else' will arrive on the scene if/when Chainrai calls it a day.
  6. @pn_neil_allen: RT @SjMaskell: Interesting comments on article re #Pompey's Minus 10 here: http://t.co/yNFMSh8g And, yet again, the sterling efforts of the PTS nutjobs fails to attract any credit... Shame they weren't as inquisitive 3 years ago... Hark! Stable doors closing over yonder valley...
  7. http://m.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-contract-stays-at-lucketts-1-4055826 Paul Barringer, sales and marketing director of Lucketts Travel said: ‘We were delighted to step in last season when the previous coach company ran into operational difficulties.’ Operational difficulties? Nothing to do with Pompey not paying their bills then...?
  8. @pn_jordan_cross: In The News tomorrow, Avram Grant's message to the beleaguered Michael Appleton and a #Pompey striker decides his future.
  9. I agree with this too. A good compromise - have a locked sticky on the main board with a link to here. Win win
  10. I agree with FF :-)
  11. You seriously want to be getting married the day this thread is closed? Where's your priorities man? :-)
  12. Despite being delighted by the Football League finally seeing sense to penalise the failed CVA for Admin1, I'm actually thinking the same. I suspect by putting the shackles on Chainrai and his derisory CVA2 offer the Football League have opened the door for a 'moderately rich' individual or consortium to give Pompey a second look. Maybe someone like Brian Howe will fancy another sniff at the books if he knows that Chainrai's grip on the club's future finances has been significantly diluted. That said, if we don't hear a whisper of someone else on the scene before August then it could well be time to start rubbing down the podgy lady with a tub of Jojoba Butter
  13. No, just your good self I believe :-)
  14. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach ‪#SaintsFC‬'s Tadanari Lee is not yet back in full training. Still a little way off but is running. Should be back by end of pre-season.
  15. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach New signing Steven Davis has a slight knock & is a doubt for #SaintsFC's team for the Liebherr Cup tomorrow.
  16. Nutshell (and I'll even forgive you this one time for stealing my car purchase analogy idea....)
  17. Yes it is....How is it different? The creditors get bugger all (or as near as damn it) in both scenarios. Same outcome, same penalty. Surely?
  18. ^This. 100%
  19. [video=youtube_share;kr9h5xBQz3k]
  20. [h=1]Djibouti[/h] Never heard of it....
  21. Even more power to the English Football League's elbow (by association)
  22. 15 pages I reckon
  23. @TonyHusbandBBC: Still feel he has to proceed. RT @NabilHassan79: #Pompey Trevor Birch admits Balu Chainrai "reeling" from penalties: http://t.co/KMf0QFN0
  24. @pn_neil_allen: Why FL sanctions are bad news for Portpin. Birch believes there could be repercussions in ownership issue. http://t.co/ClZqMAR2
