Talksport are reporting this as Coventry not Birmingham. Or maybe they're both in the same boat?

Conn: "Portsmouth is a big club" Going on about how Antonov's arrest has left Pompey in dire straits.

So, AA will be attending the initial creditors meeting that Birch is duty bound to hold then.....? I'd pay good money for ringside seat to that one

I see this all the time. I was always ultra paranoid about road safety and danger awareness when my kids were that age. Indeed, I still am to this day. I'm probably over protective of my kids but there are some parents at the other end of the scale. Anyway, I'm not in anyway suggesting this poor little girl's fate is anything to do with the parents, just tapping into your general observation. My heart goes out to the familes involved.

Obviously there was an element of luck in what happened but, to coin the old golfing adage, we went a long way to create our own luck in that our infrastructure and relatively low debt made us an attractive proposition to the right buyer. (A small ripple of applause there to a certain ex-chairman....) So, I don't accept a black and white analysis of "lucky" vs "unlucky" when comparing us with Pompey.

Spot on. Cheers :-)

FFS rallyboy! Comments like that need to come prefaced with a "Put your mug of coffee down" warning!

Fair point. I still think there's space for a 'third way' in FF's proposition but, yep, option B does indeed cover more than one eventuality :-)

'They' won't cease to exist though. Reincarnated? yes. Cease to exist? No Reincarnation will actually be good for them in the long run so those voting A are simply being sympathetic to their supporters...

In other extremely tenuous news...more press and media outside Southwark Crown Court than when 'Arry was there last month. Any idea who the guest star appearance is today?

Bring back Wogan and the p1ss take will be complete! Loved Eurovision back in the day (before block voting became too overt)

The Dutch guys I was with said that their fans also chant "Holland"

That would be option C.... Option B stipulates the hypothesis that we might not be good enough to go up on our own, hence the moral dilemma posed. I'm sure we'd all choose 'promotion of our own fruition' above all other options but I don't believe the OP was asking the question in that black and white sense. Yes. I had a chat with England's kit man's son on Wednesday night and he confirmed it.

Twist no.437.... @pn_neil_allen: So Wolanin has pulled out of buying #Pompey but Howe hasn't. This is rather confusing! http://t.co/18ySBihQ

Can Birch legally liquidate PFC2010 without having to 'ask permission' of its creditors and/or parent company? In other words, does AA, on behalf of CSI's creditors, have the authority to stop Birch doing what Birch thinks is best for PFC2010's creditors?
-
A all the way

Great Scott!
-
@pn_neil_allen: 'Just too many cumbersome and fiscally imprudent contracts signed that in our view would only further plunder club all over again' #Pompey
-
@pn_neil_allen: Vincent Wolanin and Brian Howe announce they have pulled out of #Pompey bid. 'Still hoping for a miracle, which sadly we do not have'.
