I assumed the thread would be about the footballer Darius Vassell but can only see a few posts out of #94 on that subject. But to counter-balance that, he's available on a free transfer. So, if Cortese has set himself an average budget per new player of 'sign-on fee + wages' then someone like Vassell could cost the same as say Dickson, Barnard, Lambert, etc, in net value terms over a two or three year contract.
