Live scenes from the Fujitsu IT operations centre... 😂
-
People that ask the same old "Can you recommend....?" questions on local Facebook groups/pages without first f***ing doing a quick search to see if/when someone has already f***ing asked the same f***ing question. Three f***ing times so far today on one such page has a different person asked for party venue recommendations. F***ing numbskulls.

You have more faith in a Government's ability to run a department efficiently than me then... When I had a meeting with a couple of guys from Fujitsu's defence IT division a couple of years ago they came across as somewhat amateur / behind the times... Could've been a one-off I guess....
-
How do we know that those contracts are "world class IT services" though?
-
"Yeah, but, Jimmy Savile...."
-
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, one would have thought

It'll be away to Crystal Palace or Everton, surely?
-
In my experience, executive management will often sign-off anything if it means meeting a target / deadline, regardless of the underlying quality of the service / product... 'We'll resolve any issues as they arise, without telling too many people of the severity, but at least we went live on time. #collectbonus'

My company were approached by the military/defence division of Fujitsu a couple of years ago to discuss supplying them with some software. They certainly had an 'old fashioned' public sector feel about their approach and practices (similar vibe to the NHS's IT department), so wouldn't surprise me if they were 'in bed' with the UK establishment in some shape or form... P.s. I did wonder why the ITV docu-drama didn't portray anyone high up in Fujitsu... seems like an odd omission on the surface given they would surely have either been withholding info on Horizon from the Post Office or have been complicit in supporting the Post Office's decision to cover up what was occurring....?

The intellectually challenged amongst us that copy and paste Facebook posts that purport to banish adverts. Thick twats.

Sounds like the sort of thing that tinpot club down the road would crow about... That said....
-
Yep, agree. Some players & clubs just seem to feel "right" for each other and Fraser/Saints fit that perception.
-
All long runs have to start somewhere....
-
In one of the reports quoted above, that doesn't seem to be an issue/factor, on the surface; i.e. "The proposals from both Hull and Southampton suit Liverpool so it will be Carvalho’s decision" (David Ormstein). If we weren't offering a similar amount of game time then I doubt that would "suit" Liverpool...?
-
For a young player going to unfamiliar territory, having a 'mate' at the club is probably a bigger factor than we might think, especially if the final decision is ultimately with the player rather than either club.
-
I don't think anyone is declaring that such thoughts are a "revelation", it's simply a reality that's worthy of discussion. And I think its valid and reasonable to be discussing it now, rather thah deferring it to later in the season. Different opinions are available, of course

RM pretty much said the same thing in the pre-match press conference; admitted it was the wrong move at the wrong time at that stage of his career, which is why he bailed after only a few months.

Hope you didn't lay out too much as you've just lost your bet....

Guardiola used to trot that line out when we were fighting relegation in the PL... (I'm sure @Lord Duckhunter will back me up on that one.... )

Probably for various reasons, the style of play and tactics have evolved over the course of the season for the better. That coupled with the players adapting to the system and we've arrived at a position where most/all of the fans are now on board. Obviously the fans that knew it would all turn out OK in the end get a pat on the back and can wear their "told you so" medals with pride ( ), but I maintain that the concerns that many had were justified at the time, especially against the backdrop of the previous management appointment gaffes by Sports Republic. #oncebittentwiceshy Anyway, hopefully all this translates to promotion this season as I share the equally justified concerns of some that we could easily fall back into the pack in subsequent seasons once our current financial and player quality advantage starts to level out. Onwards and upwards!
