Yep, would much rather see Salisu make his debut in a non-critical game (whilst 'important', league games are no longer 'critical' given we're now inextricably heading for a mid table finish). However, reading between the lines of Ralph's press conference yesterday, I did get the impression that he's strongly considering starting him tomorrow.

Although bear in mind that Salisu has been pictured in circa 17 training galleries so far...

I suspect the waterlogged conditions may have played a part in Ralph's thinking.... whilst taking into account how seemingly prone Djenepo is to picking up injuries. Can you imagine the hoo-haa from the hindsight brigade on here had he got injured after coming on, and the conditions had played a part in it?

Despite being in the 'clamouring to see Salisu play' club, I'm in two minds as to whether we should blood him in this game... Now that we've slipped back into our more 'natural' mid-table position in the league, arguably FA Cup games become more important than PL games and, as such, we should play our strongest possible line-up in this game. On that basis, and making a few assumptions on who'll be fit, I reckon we should go with: Forster KWP - Bednarek - Vestergaard - Bertrand JWP - Romeu Armstrong - Djenepo Ings - Adams Bench: McCarthy, Stephens, Salisu, Jankewitz, Redmond, Tella, Chauke, Watts, N'Lundulu
