Yeah, but that's kinda my point.... When feathers need ruffling our journos stick with the 'tip-toe around the issue' approach. Anyway, tis what it is.

I much prefer the 'no holds barred' approach of the local Rangers journos when Martin was at the helm there. They don't beat about the bush... if there's an obvious shortfall they'll ask about it in a robust fashion. Yes, maybe they still don't get the direct answers they're looking for but it gets the message across and maybe, in turn, it influences decisions in the background. More chance of that than with the nicey, nicey soft 'don't rock the boat' approach of our journos. IMHO of course :).

Anyone know why our local journos never raise Bazunu's poor stats at press conferences? Either they're 'under orders' from the club not to bring it up or they're too afraid of rocking the boat and/or burning bridges with the club. Can't think of any other reason why it never crops up...
