Didn't occur to me at the time to question his whereabouts when the matchday squad was announced on Sunday, but he's just the sort of tenacious 'have a go' type midfielder we were missing versus PCFC, IMO. Defo think he should get more of a look in, but I guess Azaz has knocked him down the pecking order somewhat.

The only trouble with that is, it would mean promotion and having to suffer another inadequate premier league recruitment window... Need to factor some defeats into the equation so that we just miss out on promotion and thus avoid such frustrations...

That may well be true, but for none of our other players to be on the receiving end of a foul more than twice in the whole game smacks of a team that's far too passive to me (and it's not as if PCFC were reluctant to put in a strong tackle, it's more that they didn't need to very often...) That said, maybe that low level of fouls isn't abnormal and I'm making a mountain out of a molehill...?
