"We didn't really cause the keeper any great concern." Dave Jones

An unofficial one is very different from a SI one. This is not just a data update it is a patch aswell and requires testing. Also calling something "gay" is not very PC is it
-
They were already very low in the last version.
-
Last years update was released on Valentines Day as a special gift from SI to you xx
-
bored or not doing very well?

there is alot more to it than that! you compete in a gameworld with 1,000 other human managers

Some people in this thread are selling players very cheap and also not playing and even selling some of the better Saints players! -
He is NOT young (44) He is NOT English (Scottish) Also it is debatable if he is proven at League One level given that he managed Forest who were so much bigger than most and took him a few years to get promotion.

Have already done so. Also will be giving Saints a 4m overdraft and bigger loan debt than at present and have included 3 or 4 new youth players -
Potential ability is from 1 being the lowest upto 200 being the best. If Walcott was 175 on FM07 then that means he can potentiallly become very good indeed(he has a higher PA on FM09 now). There is also a - scale for younger players where potential ability is put within a range rather than an exact figure. e.g. -10 means that the PA can be random each time you load a new game from 170-200. A PA of -9 would be 150-180, -8 would be 130-160 etc etc I can suggest new features to the development team, but then so can anyone on the SI forums.
-
Highest PA possible is 200 and has been like that for years and years

Is Leon Crouch racist? The Daily Echo "suggests" he is.
Matthew Le God replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Those that are disagreeing with me. If your boss sacked you and said he would only apoint the best available English candidate and turned down Welsh, Scots, Dutch, French candidates and interviewed 10 English applicants would that be fair? Some of you clearly haven't a clue. Why should we accept this from football clubs when we wouldn't in life? Welsh, Scots, Dutch, French candidates can have experience of managing in the Championship -

In my opening post which you have clearly not fully read I said Crouch didn't say English league experience. He just said English manager. Which is discrimination based on nationality. English isn't even a nationality really either. -

Basing managerial appointments on nationality rather than ability and limiting the applicant field to just English managers is not a good thing . How can you not agree with that? -

I am yes. -
Basing managerial appointments on nationality rather than ability and limiting the applicant field to just English managers is not a good thing. Do we really want a man in charge of our club that bases managerial appointments on nationality rather than ability? To make a condition of replacing with a manager with Championship or English lower league experience would be reasonable perhaps in our situation. However to confine the search for a manager to one nationality is a very strange. Would a Welsh, Scotsman or N. Irishman not do Leon? They are all British(same nationality as you). Yet you rule them out. Does it have to be English only? Give Mark Wotte a chance. Not because he is Dutch, not because he is not English. But because at present he is out manager and he hasn't even had one game yet. If your boss sacked you and said he would only apoint the best available English candidate and turned down Welsh, Scots, Dutch, French candidates and interviewed 10 English applicants would that be fair? Why should we accept this from football clubs when we wouldn't in life? Welsh, Scots, Dutch, French candidates can have experience of managing in the Championship

Dave Jones wasn't sacked by Saints
-
Sell on clauses are quite often a % of the profit. We sold Jones for 6m and the Spurs/Sunderland deal is 6m plus Bent (so no profit) unless the value of Bent is taken into account. So perhaps even if we did have a clause this swap deal would prevent us getting anything.

You didn't trust the official site so you turned to Wikipedia - that reliable fountain of knowledge for football matters
