He is 20 years old. How can he be in the youth team?

All players are given a current ability from 1 to 200 and potential ability from 1 to 200. Older players have a "set/fixed figure" potentials from 1 to 200. For example Kelvin Davis might be 130. Younger players have "range figures" as it is more guesswork. Range figures are from -10 to - 1 (trying to remember these off the top of my head so may be wrong ) -10 = 170 - 200 -9 = 150 - 180 -8 = 130 - 160 -7 = 110 - 140 -6 = 90 - 120 And so on... Each game you load for a -8 player for example they will have a potential set at somewhere between 130 - 160. It will differ each time you start a new game. So one save game he could be 132 potential ability and another it could be 158. Does that answer your question? -
It wasn't Curbishley it was Pardew.

Delgado was a very good player, he was a class international as his goal scoring record in South America shows. He played well in the few games he played for us. The problem with Delgado certainly wasn't his ability. His problems were his attitude and injury record.

Hamman will want 20k wages at least and will goto someone like Hull or a top flight German team. Vassell is playing for a Turkish Premiership team on big money. Mills is the only one to be even slightly interested incoming here. He'd still be on big money and even then I'm sure he could possibly get an offer from a higher League team than us.
-
I agree he was poor, however playing on the left made it hard for him as he couldn't beat his marker on the outside or cross with his right foot. He is still one of our best young players. Btw it is Thomson not Thompson

Politically correct as ever from MB

They cut to him on the big screen as he took his seat. Gave the crowd a wave.

Yeah, but not with me anymore and have been passed onto relevant researchers. Hatch on trial at Torquay so if he signs for them the Torquay researcher will deal with him. -
I'm still standing by my long held opinion that Morgan Schneiderlin is a class act, despite what others on here think. Was very good when he came on.

Having seen some of the formations people not at the game, I'll clear it up with the actual one as I was there. Davis Murty Thomas Perry Molyneux Wotton James Gillett Lallana Mills Rasiak
-
Joseph Mills or Kelvin Davis Motm imo Team shows some promise against clearly much better opponents.

The internet has made its way to Portsmouth apparently

I think its one of the rare times I want to see Saints beaten by alot and torn apart so Mr Liebherr gets his chequebook out
-
Why some credibility? It has zero credibility. You have no idea at all who it was written by! It could have been me trying to wind you up for all you know (it wasn't btw )
-
I didn't say it wasn't true. It may well be, but its likely to be just using the Reading connection. I'm just saying anyone in the world can create a Wikipedia account and write what ever they want on there. Therefore Wikipedia has as much credibility as a rumour on this site unless it is backed up with a secondary source.
-
Anyone can add that on Wikipedia. Not reliable in any way.

An amazingly good acquisition in Div 3 more like

I don't mind if Pardew is using us as a way back to a Premiership club. In order to do that he will have to do very well with us before any Prem team would want him. Thus a win/win situation and we find someone else whilst being in a better position to attract good managers ...Or he could just get us back to the top flight and he'd be a Prem manager again
-
Stern John is obviously going to be a very good League One player and will score loads. Jason Euell is more than good enough for League One. Anyone that thinks otherwise clearly doesn't understand how poor this league is.

Has a press conference been announced yet? (Will we get 2pm on a Friday like we always dreamed?)
-
Gemany last won the World Cup(as West Germany) in 1990

At the point he took over Saints, Strachan's CV was pretty much bare in comparison to how Pardew's currently is if he is indeed the new manager.
-
Not a good thing. Puts pressure on Pardew if things go wrong. Dof's never work out in England and normally end up as manager.
-
Don't be stupid. Name a manger with a better track record than Pardew out of all of the current managers in League One? If we were in the Premiership, I'd be less inspired but for this level of 3rd tier football, appointing Alan Pardew is showing ambition. Of course I'd prefer Strachan but Pardew is a very good appointment imo.
