  1. Potter joined Brighton in May 2019, that doesn't meet the description Semmens used in February 2022 of "this year or the end of last year" .

"West has been humiliated by Russia as troops are returning the their basis they are saying." The way that sentence is constructed could be read as everything before the 'as' was your opinion and the reason for your opinion was everything after the 'as'. It is also extremely vague as states source to be 'they'.

Your original post made no indication it was the view of someone else. 🙄

Oh dear Turkish 🙄 Both the Sky and BBC reports says 'some troops', not all troops and that it is unclear what is going on. You are the one who has jumped to the conclusion it is over by saying the West has been 'humiliated'. It is you who made the claim the West were humiliated, so why can't you answer why you think some troops leaving the border equals humiliation?

What have the Russians gained for the West to be 'humiliated'? Plus if you read that on the BBC, what about this... " Russia says it is pulling back some of its troops from near Ukraine after a build-up prompted fears of an invasion. The defence ministry said that large-scale drills continued but that some units were returning to their bases. It did not say how many are leaving and it is not yet clear if it will de-escalate tensions." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-60386141 Some troops is not all troops and it still isn't clear what they are doing.
  6. There only about 4 clubs at most in world football that are not selling clubs. Saints aren't going to be one of those clubs.
  7. He said 'was on our list' not 'is on our list'.
  8. A 'gain' is that it is safer than having people stand in areas designed for people to sit, as is currently the case.
  9. It is not 'according to the BBC'. The BBC gossip page merely lists rumours from other websites. It is not the BBC making the claim. https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/arsenal-armando-broja-transfer-martinelli-23085209?_ga=2.264847820.276700759.1644786310-2108179463.1643299921
  10. Which January (or even summer) did Saints do that?
  11. When the fixture takes place isn't decided by the FA, it is the Premier League who are the governing body.

  13. Perhaps Spurs are catchable 😁
  14. Swap deals are extremely rare.
  15. I doubt we'll be catching West Ham or Spurs, so probably better if they both win vs Leicester & Wolves.
  16. Armstrong missing a couple of chances doesn't = a bad game He did a huge amount of good work both offensively and defensively. Missing a chance or two doesn't outweigh that.
  17. This sums it up...
  18. When Che Adams was struggling for goals at the start of his time at Saints, his build up play and all round game was good. We aren't getting that from Adam Armstrong, who is both lacking goals and anything else in terms of impact at this level. Armstrong has now been overtaken in the pecking order by a player 4 years younger than him who also had not played at PL level before this season. Broja at 20 years old didn't require a season to get upto speed in the PL after having only experienced 1st team football at a lower level in the Netherlands.
  19. 1) Big difference between Spurs to Man Utd preparation vs Man Utd to Everton preparation is it was Wednesday to Saturday for the former and now it is Saturday to Saturday. 2) It isn't a myth. Of course fatigue is an issue if you play games in quick succession.
  20. He may have played in midfield tonight...
  21. Saints should play this song in the pre-match build up...
  22. 1) Winning something is not a distant dream... in the last five years Saints have played in a League Cup final and two FA Cup semi finals. It is not unreasonable to think Saints could do so again in the near future. It certainly isn't a distant dream. 2) The majority of our players were not signed by Hasenhuttl. They were signed by managers who weren't even here for the 2.5 years this story says Hasenhuttl plans to stay for on top of his current time at Saints!
  23. Because they are highly paid, want to win something and will still be contracted to the club after the manager leaves.
  24. You've taken my original post completely out of context of the post it was a reply to.
