Saints would potentially benefit being the keystone club in any group. The flow of players through the group ultimately benefits the club at the top of the group, which is unlikely to be anyone other than Saints.

It might not mean all of them from Saints, if Goztepe are one of a few clubs bought this summer, other players might be rotated from them as well.

That doesn't mean there aren't variations from country to country.

It varies depending on the league rules in each country.

It was reported by the Athletic as signed in September 2020, so not particularly recently. Not recent enough for it to be too soon to sell him. Although I think Bednarek may be the one who goes, as we'd get a bigger fee and he'd more likely be unhappy not starting.

He was playing pretty regularly in the Bundesliga last season, I doubt we've signed him to play for the u21s. He'd likely be pretty surprised at that! I think he'll quickly become the 1st choice pairing with Salisu, possibly even as early as the first league game.

We had enough points to be safe long before the season finished.
