  1. Instead of who? Ward-Prowse or Romeu? McGinn wouldn't play in the Romeu role... so his competition is Ward-Prowse and I wouldn't be playing McGinn rather than Ward-Prowse.
  2. Burger King now tweeting about him...
  3. I'd rather have Ward-Prowse and Romeu.
  4. Middlesbrough's and Wycombe's point is that Derby screwed their promotion and survival chances, the punishments Derby got did not resolve that. If you think it is unfair on Derby... how about how fair it was for Middlesbrough and Wycombe and their fans?
  5. Why don't you think Wycombe and Middlesbrough have a point? Derby's financial cheating potentially cost Boro a playoff spot and Wycombe a place in the Championship.
  6. Because they are currently on thin ice!
  7. Throw enough money at a manager and you can get a pretty good one...
  8. Walker-Peters was 22 years old and had only played in 12 Premier League games when Saints first signed him. I don't think that counts as experienced!
  9. My point about contract length was to highlight the situations were different. So a Livramento £5m deal won't be possible for Broja.
  10. I did not say it wouldn't be good for Saints, I was saying it wasn't feasible.
  11. The one with 4 years left. Because there isn't the looming risk of the contract running out and value decreasing. Yet you appear to be saying otherwise.
  12. Why does it make it more likely?
  13. Cedric went to Arsenal for £5m Livramento joined for £5m Who is the better player?
  14. No it isn't. Livramento only had 1 year left of his Chelsea contract and didn't want to sign a new one. That left Saints in a strong position to get him relatively cheap with a big buy back clause. Broja signed a 5 year contract a few weeks before he joined Saints on loan. That reduces the pressure on Chelsea to sell him cheaply.
  15. That would require at least one of Watford, Burnley and Norwich to get 23/24 points from half a season worth of games. What is changing for them that would see such an upturn in form give they are currently all on 10 or 11 points? Last season it was possible to stay up on 28 points, I think there is a decent chance it will be even lower this season.
  16. Big difference is none of the players you mention are any where near as young as Broja. They all peaked at those times, I doubt Broja has peaked at only 20.
  17. I don't think any of Norwich, Watford or Burnley will break the 30 point mark, so two more wins from the remaining 18 games and we will be safe.
  18. Isn't it 5 goals from only 8 starts? That makes it impressive.
  19. It won't affect the new signings they make. Any surplus players they don't sell can be left unregistered and unable to play.
  20. No he hasn't, he has made it so he now has a protected account. In order to view his tweets you now need to be accepted to follow him.
  21. The three of them have played together in a three on a few occasions. Not always at the start of games.
  22. I don't know. But the end time for the programme is very late, which suggests it is showing the full game but from a delayed start.
  23. Yes it is, they are showing it on a time delay at 9pm.
  24. Manchester Evening News think Tottenham want him to replace Lloris (who is out of contract soon). He is on £125k per week, so doubt Saints will be going for him.
