I'd guess it would be one or the other between those two if being eyed for the AMC role in the 4231.

The pre-match press conference is on Friday.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/35896527/transfer-news-updates-live-liverpool-isak-chelsea-updates/#liveblog-entry-36194365 Southampton have had a bid for Coventry's Jack Rudoni rejected by their Championship rivals. Saints made a hopeful move for the midfielder, but their offer fell well below Coventry's asking price. It is unclear whether Saints will now return with a bigger offer. Frank Lampard is reluctant to sell the 24-year-old after he made 43 Championship appearances last season. Rudoni bagged an impressive nine goals and registered 12 assists from midfield. Southampton may need midfield additions this summer with a number of players expected to leave. Mateus Fernandes and Joe Aribo are expected to depart, while Will Smallbone moving on has not been ruled out. Flynn Downes and Shea Charles are expected to be regular starters for Will Still's side.

"Zero" "No one" Adam Armstrong had 13 assists in our promotion season.

They'd struggle to get any good loan players, as they aren't allowed to pay loan fees.
-
They do not play in the same role/position. It isn't one or the other, they want both.

Ed Sheeran gets number 17. What number should we give Craig David?
-
He was signed for a nominal amount from a high school. It is not a burden on our finances. He has very high potential based on reports from the FM Japanese head researcher.

Ward-Prowse and Tella played games for us in August 2023 before the window shut. August 2023 - Played 4, won 3, drew 1 and lost 0, Points 10 out of 12 It was after the window shut that we had the 4 defeats in a row.
-
Is that you ruling out Quarshie and Downs being useful starters from the beginning of the season?
-
Why is that confusing? @Saint Fan CaM

Transfer windows existed long before Sky Sports News. The Football League introduced a transfer deadline day in the 1950s. The transfer window closed in late March every year from the 1950s until 2002 when the January window was introduced.
-
One reason is not every league system worldwide runs from August to May like ours does.
-
Why wouldn't Fernandes be fit enough? He had 3 or so days off for illness and then training for a week before the game? I'd also not rule out the other bar Harwood-Bellis, especially as we don't know the full details of their injuries/recoveries.
-
Zero evidence of that happening to this point. Only money going in, not out.
-
20% of the profit, not the total fee
-
If you are talking about Ross Stewart, his was not a minor injury.
-
Minor injuries do not prevent transfers. Medicals look for injuries that will impact the future. You can pass a medical even if you are currently injured. Plus in any case he is already back in training so not injured.
