Why not when those clubs have spent similar to that on other players?
-
£25m would be ridiculously cheap for a player with his talent, number of clubs interested and the length of contract left. Double it and you'd be closer to his value.
-
Amazing spot, well done! It could possibly be a typo given I used the correct spelling earlier in the post you just quoted.

If it was script from Hollywood, given 'Welcome to Wrexham' has covered 3 promotions in the last three series, a more interesting script for the opening to series 5 would be a comfortable Southampton win bringing Wrexham back down to earth, before they improve as the series goes on. Adds more drama than a constant upward trajectory. They need some bumps in the road and warnings of this film contains 'mild peril'.

Ticket releases for August and Portsmouth games?

It isn't shoehorning if more people want to watch it If more people want to watch it... it is significant to UK sporting culture in 2025 -
Window closes before the Pompey game.

Not if the squad is smaller.

Didn't he sign for Brighton?

Any splinters sitting on that fence?

Our under-16s made it to the final of a major youth competition held regularly in Northern Ireland. They were in a hard place last season mentally because most of them were too shit for the league they were in. That led to defeat after defeat and is mentally draining. This season they will go into games with higher ability players than most of the rest of the league. They'll soon forget the omnishambles of last season IF we get off to a good start.

He has not left.

We haven't been using a wingback system as the main system.
-
Armstrong assisted 13 goals in the promotionaeason. Is that not creativity? Is Robinson not creative? We do not know for sure that Edozie is leaving.
-
A pointless point really as it was only because we sold the best players later in the window in that season. The line up suggested above for Wrexham will have a lot of players that will still be here after the window closes.
-
Not remotely close to being 'pitiful' at Championship level. Armstrong and Brereton Díaz are both best as wide forwards. Both prolific in the Championship. Archer, prolific in the Championship 18 goals in 40 games. Stewart prolific in a small sample of 13 games and 10 goals. Downs top scorer for best team in 2.Bundesliga. Edozie and Fraser both effective in the Championship. Edozie had 6 goals from only 16 starts in the promotion season which is good end product. Robinson will be very effective this season. His age doesn't mean he can't be used. One of the main current issues is the number 10 role if Fernandes and Dibling leave. I'd be surprised if we didn't see a number 10 role player arrive. In the short term, Joe Aribo would be a decent option at Championship level until we sign one, but looks like Fraser might also be in Still'sthoughts for that based on pre season. Neither ideal as 1st choice for the rest of the season, but may be needed until new signing beds in.
-
Apart from having numerous players that have very good Championship goal scoring records.
-
They aren't going to pay the amount it would take to buy him for him then to spend most of his time on the bench.
-
That won't help much. If we don't go up this season, there'll be 3 more clubs with parachute payments joining us. Plus our parachute payments would be reduced in 26/27 and any decent player would want to leave next summer.
