Don't view it as a back 5 then!
Hasenhuttl calls the formation he normally uses for us a 3-4-3. He appears to favour a front three of Armstrong, Ings and Redmond.
The 1966 World Cup win was 10 years before Alan Ball joined Saints.
At least Terry Paine was a Southampton player when he won the World Cup (although the medal only came in 2009)...
He'll only go to a richer club if he does a great job for us... so Saints will benefit. Cheer up ffs!
Better to have great managers for 1 or 2 years (Pochettino and Koeman) than plod along with mediocre managers (Puel) or regulary sack **** ones (Pellegrino and Hughes).
The Alli incident isn't relevant as it was at international level and under a different governing body.
The Troy Deeney lack of punishment is more relevant.
No i wouldn't. Stephens played for Southampton's under 18 academy team... That makes him a Saints academy product. Of course he is partly a Plymouth academy product as well, but that doesn't mean he isn't a Saints academy player.
