They do based on their performances at that level. Armstrong is a prolific goalscorer in that league, Smallbone a top player in that league. Sure, they aren't up to it in the PL, but we don't need them for that next season. Replacements can be signed after any future potential promotion.

We will be in the Championship next season, why wouldn't you want him in a Championship squad? He scored 24 goals at that level last season.

Kraft has today been replaced as president at Valenciennes FC.
-
That didn't happen.

Comments like that lead to you meeting HR in the first place!

Welington is not currently injured, but he missed the final eight games of the season with a hamstring injury. He needs gametime more than Alcaraz did.

-
How do you know where they view him in the pecking order? He hadn't played for a month and needs gametime.
-
He played for the u21s because he had a hamstring injury and he needs to get up to speed.

Welington is not injured. He played for the u21s last week.

It was a tactical mess before Martinball under Jones and Selles which didn't help.
-
Do you think he was suited to the slow possession football Martin used? I don't.

Looks pretty good for mid January, after heavy prolonged rainfall and after 90 minutes of football
-
Well as I said it... yes it is my opinion

So what? My point is we'll be challenging for promotion.

They are a mid table Championship side, which is an indicatorfor the 12 teams bow them for quality. There are only 4 good teams this seasons Championship.
-
Probably because he has been identified as a liability with the ball at his feet. Better to let him have it and mess up.
-
How is that relevant to next season? We already know the are top Championship players in terms of ability.
-
Lots of the rest of the squad are also at a level of top Championship players. Armstrong and Archer for example both on our bench, both will probably be here next season and both are proven prolific in the Championship. Similar can be said of lots of the other players not starting today in terms of ability.

7 of the eleven started their last Championship game.

Like I've said in other threads. We are out of our depth in the PL, but we'll comfortably be one of the best teams in the Championship next season even with a few departures.
