Said not Saint.

I know what it is called, but most people continue to call it Twitter. When Prince changed his name to a symbol, did people call him Prince or the symbol?
-
No it isn't. Because all I said was some Saints fans say it, not all Saints fans. Are they not Saints fans?
-
You both might not, but some do. As evidenced on Twitter every summer!
-
The released/retained list always confuses some fans every summer! Some fans think any player they want rid of should be on it, when it is only for those out of contract on 30th June of that year. Paying up contracts is an extremely rare event. Players won't want to give up money they are contractually owed. Any players we can't sell this summer, we'd look to loan out, not buy out their contracts.
-
Exactly, we even sold Mara for £10.2m!

He was our joint 3rd top scorer in the league last season, despite only playing in 32 games in a 46 game season. Only 16 of those 32 games were starts. So for a 20/21 year old winger is 6 goals from 16 starts (and 16 second half sub appearances some of which were very short) not producing?

That article is based on the views of one Saints fan. So he is one of 'us'.
-
Yes, they are a big source of income.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

New deal until 2029 for Jay Robinson -
I'd guess we'll see Shea Charles in the defensive midfielder role next season. He has excelled in the Championship this season.

1) You were responding to a response to me. I was questioning the claim that they have taken money out of the group. No-one has provided any evidence of them doing that. Time after time you fail to understand the burden of proof. 2) Yet another example of pathetic petty insults. 3) Not at all. That is your modus operandi, not mine!
-
Oh dear Turkish. You jumped into this discussion and have forgotten how it started. It started with me questioning the claim that they have taken money out of the group. No-one has provided any evidence of them doing that. Time after time you fail to understand the burden of proof. You fail to comprehend, avoid questions and make petty insults. Rinse and repeat, year after year.

Still waiting for an explanation of how they would take money out of the accounts and no one notice it happening. This isn't just me, I mean... no one noticing! Have you have been taking accounting advice from Kwasi Kwarteng!?
-
Utter nonsense and avoidance yet again. I'm very familiar with how business accounts work and it is obvious when millions are leaving the account to the owners. The reverse is evident. The accounts show them putting large amounts into the club in the accounts.
-
Time after time you have failed to explain how they are "getting Premier League money" out of the group and keeping it for themselves.
-
It isn't hard to spot money leaving accounts of the group. What the accounts do show is they have put large amounts into Saints!
-
Suggest a motivation for not wanting to be as successful as they can be?
-
It isn't.
-
Name a non "black and white example" of them taking money out of the group.
-
1) Name them! 2) Yes you did, you said... "it’s clearly not about making SFC as successful as it can be"
-
Utter nonsense yet again. How are they removing money from the group?
-
I think you will struggle to find examples of doing that to Sport Republic. On what are you basing the claim of not wanting Saints to be successful?
-
You have now made a number of claims... "football not as a byproduct" "the main driver is to make more and more money for the owners" "Football is no longer the fundamental principle strategy point and selling is for Saints and has been for a while." But that does not hold water! There is zero evidence in the accounts of them taking money out of the group.
