1. The promoted teams from League One in 2009/10 in the Championship in 2010/11... Norwich 2nd Leeds 7th Millwall 8th ...Suggests you are wrong
2. Why is that surprising? Would be daft if the rules excluded players that were able to play in the qualifying tournament from playing in the finals. It is "under 21's" from when the qualifying matches started, and Adam was under 21 at that point. Just like a 12 year old can play for an under 12's team in the Tyro Leagues in Southampton, but the UEFA under 21 tournament is over a 24 month period and not 12 months.
3. Chamberlain being injured didn't help his chances. However the under 20 World Cup is later this year and he may have a chance of being it that (although it clashes with the Football League season as it is in August). Well done to Adam Lallana!
4. So they know how may stewards/police/catering staff they need. So people have an allocated seat to save arguments in the stands.
5. They already have... "Some of the names on show include the mainstays of our previous stint in the Premier League such as, Claus Lundekvam, Jason Dodd, Paul Jones and Egil Ostenstad, who will all be looking to prove that they've still got what it takes to mix it with the best of them!"
6. My thread makes the free admission bit clearer. Which is the key to making this game have a good attendance.
7. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2352029,00.html Now we know the news, probably deserves its own thread.
8. He has already played 97 Championship games in his career. Including seasons in the playoffs of the Championship with Leeds United. - Dan Harding over 120 games at Championship level. - Danny Butterfield over 350 games at Championship level. People questioning if they are up to it, forget their pasts. Of course it is no guarantee just because they have all played many games at that level before, but at least it gives an indication.
9. Unlikely WBA will sell him when they haven't even worked with him yet.
10. I think so if this is to be believed and not just an agent talking up his client... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11854_6889240,00.html
11. I was explaining how to embed videos into the thread rather than just giving the link. I even said in my post "Like this with your video..."
12. Beattie, Baird, Ormerod, Bridge and Delap are current Premier League players, the Premier League finishes 22nd May this season. I doubt their clubs will let them play in a friendly against Saints any time soon. Would be cool if they did though!
13. You are right, something like that would excite me. Maybe not quite that far though.
14. Stadium expansion plans is my guess. Maybe they were waiting for Championship level football before deciding it was worth proceeding with, after all it is a long process from planning to completion and they may want it completed asap now.
15. Read what I said in my post again Deppo. I was just showing him how to do it, as many don't. Just trying to be nice.
16. Embed them using the film icon on the quick reply bar. Like this with your video... When written as code it would look like this...
17. The Markus Liebherr Pavillion...
18. He is on loan at West Ham, so will still be a Premier League player with Spurs.
19. I think naming the new training ground pavilion building after Markus would be the best idea, after all he is paid the millions of pounds that it is costing.
20. This always strikes me as a bizarre piece of logic when fans don't want their team to get promoted to the Premier League. Even if Saints did get immediately relegated again, they would be able to use the £48 million worth of parachute payments, along with the money earnt in the Premier League to strengthen for another go at it. Blackpool for example if they come down this season, will be in a far stronger position than if they hadn't gone up in the first place. In any case I don't see why you think Saints would struggle, Cortese has stated the finances are in place for Saints to eventually compete in the top half of the Premier League.
21. That won't happen any time soon.
22. I think this goes to show a 32k stadium simply wouldn't be big enough for Saints if they returned to the Premier League.
23. Championship 2010/11... Norwich 2nd Leeds United 7th Millwall 8th Shows the gap between the top of League One and the Championship is minimal. None of those clubs have the spending power of Saints and after the January 2010 transfer window shut (and Saints signed Fonte, Barnard, Puncheon and Seaborne) Saints comfortably beat Norwich at Carrow Road and Leeds at St Mary's.
24. He is a football agent with a twitter account and writes for the Daily Mirror, he loves attention...
