Watching with a lovely German commentary. Our kit (and the keepers kit) really look crap. -
Jackie Smith's husband will be upset. I see the Daily Mail are championing this as something they have sorted out. Won't it be ironic if the Mail's own website is blocked due to it's "Sidebar of Smut" Looks like I'll be using the proxy not just for match days but when the Mrs is at work.

At the end of the day we signed up to the common market on the basis of it being a "trade deal". No-one in this country voted for everything else the EU now does. By pulling out of the EU and reverting to a trade arrangement we won't penalise ourselves on the basis that the EU trades more with us than we do with them. They therefore won't shoot themselves in the foot. The problem comes when politicians realise that by pulling out they won't be able to get their nice retirement job as a MEP.

Mossie : The Plane That Saved Britain
doubleonothing replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
Will watch this. My grandfather flew Hurricanes and Wellingtons so I'm always interested to see something on WW2 RAF. don't know a huge amount amount about the Mossie so will be net resting o find out. -
So Cameron is to announce that porn is to be automaticity blocked to all UK homes with the Internet, tough you can opt in. What do the w@nkers of Saints Web make of this! Is it going to far? Will you opt in? Will it be a popular policy? I spend months away with sh!t Internet at sea, so to have porn blocked at home is not something I want. Looks like I'll be opting in (though hope they don't send a conformation letter for Mrs OOO to read)

In the role you will be required to interact with supporters, play a part in the Match Day show and be present for pre-match photos. We are looking for someone who is confident to perform in front of a large crowd and is willing to get involved in the Match Day experience. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and approachable with a desire and ability to capture their audience. If you would like to apply please send us your CV and a covering letter outlining why you would be the perfect candidate for this role to hr@saintsfc.co.uk

(Not sure if posted previously) Notice from the picture on the U21 match report on the OS, the kit they seem to be wearing (the home shirt) hasn't got an aap3 logo on it. Does suggest that the kit was delivered without the sponsor on it as Lotus (or someone else) I think it looks better without the sponsor (but then most kits do)

Means that we'll continue to get the traditional "any stream for today?" threads. But those who currently use front row will be on them asking the questions! (Me included now)
-
Congrats to him, but no Shaw announcement yet. Maybe building up to it!
-
The white and black polo shirts have got it on them but its in the same colour as the shirt so you can barely see it. Sure The9 will correct if wrong, but I think all the other clubs have got their badges in the correct colours.

What happened to that zillionaire from Microsoft?
doubleonothing replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I know a couple of people who work on his yacht. It is, as far as I know, currently in the South Pacific. No idea if Paul Allen is onboard. -
I have enhanced the reflection in the jet intake and can reveal: nothing.
-
Has anyone done a Skacel joke yet? Or started a "what time will the announcement on the OS" sweeps yet?

Got back last night. Fantastic weekend. Also had roving grandstands on Friday/Saturday and was in the Village grandstand on Race day. Camped at Woodlands which had an amazing atmosphere with great live music and the Petrol Head pub. All in all a superb weekend - cant wait to go again!
-
Right time to wade in on this. Got back from Silverstone last night so I've missed all the fun regarding the shirt! No doubt most of this has been said already though! I don't like it and won't be buying it. Is not only down to the fact I'm ot a fan of the all red effort, but I don't like the design, and £50 for a shirt being used by pub/Sunday league teams strikes me as a rip off. And for me the Gold looks like something JD sports would come up with. Also, what's happened with the fabled Addidas-Saints megastore?
-
So that when they reveal a striped effort tomorrow, West Quay is flooded and it really is the best selling shirt of all time (More straw clutching)
-
Not a fan, but as I said in the other thread, I'm hoping its a training shirt and an unbelievable wind up by the club!
-
Hopefully it's a training kit and the real shirt has stripes! And then we'll all look stupid! (Straws, clutching @)
-
For me, it's not Saints. Not a fn

Me and a mate are going for 3 days and camping at Woodlands. In Village grandstand on the Sunday. First time Ive been in the country for the British GO in years. Really looking forward to it.
-
Its worth pointing out that the Lotus F1 them are Majority owned by GenIi Capital - international financial advisory and investment firm, which specialises in brand management, promising technologies, motorsport and a wide spectrum of venture capitalism activities. Could NC have been looking for more than shirt sponsorship? Maybe it was more than shirt sponsorship that caused the break down? Personally I'm quite glad as I'm a McLaren fan!

Saw the accident earlier on. Had a big crash into the barriers earlier on (it was on Lap 3) and has died from his injuries. He appeared to loose control of his Aston Martin and crashed heavily. Was quite a few laps under the safety car as a result. Very sad news.
