Apart from the fact we have produced numerous world champions in many different sports from rowing to formula 1. Yes we aren't go to out do the like of China in a medals table but they have quite a few more people to choose from. Try telling the likes of Daley, Wiggins Cavendish, Redgrave etc that they don't have/didn't have the drive to be the best and see what they say.

Just back from Russia - China & Spain -Aus basketball this morning. Really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. Very American way of playing music at every gap in play but to be expected! First basketball game I've been to and first Olympic event. The park is quite impressive and quite big. Obvious queues but overall an enjoyable experience! Got Beach Volleyball on Thursday night and then Football on Saturday @ Wembley.

Can't see it happening but would be great if it did. Now to go after Bale.....
