I got talking to an Australian athlete the other night who was the training partner to the NZ 200m hurdler. The question of is Bolt on drugs came up. The opinion in the athletic community is that Bolt is not anything. He just isn't human.

It works for the lions in 15 a side rugby can't see why it won't work for 7's. The Ireland one is a bt more interesting though.

The noise was incredible. I think everyone in the stadium wanted him to clear that bar! One of the things that struck me is that when the runners go round the track there is a "Mexican wave of sound" that follows them round. The sound always seems to be level with the runners. Really was an impressive place. Though if West Ham get it the stadium I can't work out how they are going to reduce capacity.

So were we in the Yellow kit tonight? Is it officially our 3rd kit yet?

Well back from a fantastic night in the Olympic stadium. Atmosphere was incredible. Particularly enjoyed the German discus champion celebrating by doing the 100m hurdles.

Was thinking about going into town for the tri-Athlon as it is a largely open event but sacked it off when I got tickets for tonight. Apparently Boris cycled the course to great cheers. Great setting for it.
