One thing for sure, this will spark a managerial merry go round, RDM becoming available will now give some trigger happy chairmen another option. Loads of intriguing potential changes and I bet clubs like Leeds and Birmingham are waiting to see if Adkins,Hughes/McDermott becomes available because they surely didn't expect to be near the bottom of the Championship. Winning at QPR gave us all lift and took NA out of the firing line, hope for a couple of good home results now.
  2. Not one club above league one took a punt on Rickie, without SFC he would never have played in prem IMO. I think that JP is disliked by the team and if you noticed he was running away from celebrating with his fingers to his lips. Having said that, JP had a good game as did SRL.
  3. My work is erratic, call outs etc. and many a time I get to the stadium in time for a bite to eat and a pint, the quality this season os food and service is very poor. So, tell me, what sort of matchday experience is yours?
  4. The judgment is one thing, being able to pay is another. If SFC now settle on the nail then I don't see a problem but if £60 can't be settled then we are in deep mire. Probably cost a lot more to go away for a couple of days last week, a paltry amount in terms of a PL club.
  5. I usually hurry from work to St.Mary's and grab something to eat pre game, not anymore, the whole "matchday experience" has gone downhill rapidly. Now turn up, watch the game, go home, don't spend any money in the bars or on programmes.
  6. What concerns me is that NA was a keeper yet he can't decide on his best one. I'd stick with KD for his experience and loyalty for the club, he's made no more mistakes than the other two.
  7. Did Lamberts high wages upset the other players when we were in league 1.

    Wayne Bridge

Bridge would have been that experienced premiership quality that we needed.
  9. Wonder if Leadbitters have paid for their corporate box.
  10. See fans at Blackburn have made the club change its mind on an appointment. I never liked the way HR failed to connect with SFC and could never say "we" always them and they. He came to us because of a "lovers" tiff with MM and didn't improve our position one bit. BUT, I do want us to survive and considering NC will do what HE wants then what will be will be. My personal opinion has been that when Nigel got us promoted, that was job done, he could have been paid off then very handsomely, retained an excellent CV, be employable at any Championship club and we could have appointed a more experienced man then. We have needed someone who could attract premiership class players, I have doubted Nigel's ability to do that. Love the man for what he achieved for us and hate seeing him going through all this negativity (that I have been drawn in as well). Glad NC has not given the press the headline they are looking for of a vote of confidence.
  11. NC doesn't like Fox apparently, goes with some of the theories.
  12. At least NC won't listen to fans, he will be decisive even if it upsets us (Rednapp).
  13. I have always wished that MLT and NC would be friends for the benefit of the club but it will never happen. NC is the Chairman and head of a big business that could probably be bought at a price, so Matt, either put up or shut up, Pinnacle failed, you're not Chairman so please retain some dignity so we can remember you for all the great times. I hope you're not being primed by Sky to be contraversial for their viewing public.
  14. Mine terminated at 66% after I was negative about the food and drink. Totally irrelevant survey if its not prepared to get all the answers.
  15. There is only one option now for Saturday, a full house and for every other home game from now on. Preferred bidder does not mean ownership, BC won't let go easily.
  16. Has Birch been seen in the directors box at FP lately. Maybe he's just realised how pointless setting deadlines is, must admit that he's got a big shout on deciding a preferred bidder because either way they ain't going nowhere.
  17. I don't know how to do that but it is a small article in Nico's Football League News on the bottom right of page 23 of the Goals supplement.
  18. To quote The Sun today. "Portsmouth, who who could go bust with debts of £58million, are paying Izale McLeod £4,000 per week. A League One boss who tried to sign him said, We couldn't afford that" How are they doing it with the FL supposedly overseeing the transactions.
  19. No sentiment, a results driven business, can see achange soon.
  20. Jim fixed it for me.

    Mark Dennis

Think he still lives in Chandlers Ford and doing something on match days for Birmingham (or he was)
  22. Maybe we don't have the funds as another thread exposes our loans.
