People seem surprised by Peretz's performances but why? There is a reason that he is a Bayern Munich player and it is not because he drives a BMW
-
It's what happens when everything becomes gentrified. Football is such an enigma
-
He's a young lad in his first season at this level, we should not expect too much of him however good his potential.
-
Without Downes and Scienza, might as well stay at home. The midfield battle is so crucial in this type of match and a preferred midfield of Bragg and Jander will struggle to dominate. Up front it has to be Larin irrespectie of Stewart's availability. Let's hope that Wednesday evening was a low energy blip; a similar showing tomorrow will sink any ambition of a play-off place. Unfortunately it is a must win game that we must win which seems unlikely.

I really hope not Harry

Yep, ref was crap tonight, booked Bragg for a (first) slight shirt tug but let them pull our guys to the ground all night and did FA about it
-
Back to crab football. When will Azaz and Fellows deliver on their potential. Neither deserves to be on the pitch. We need a creative playmaker. At least Larin has defied his critics and saved our skins tonight. Charles was poor, almost invisible. Where was Jander, we missed his attacking threat?

We have several wonder kids

Take comfort from the fact that we won our one eigth final

The Gunners are in for a thrashing!
-
Bring it on! No problem for me if a player wears his heart on his sleeve. 100% committment is what we want to see.
-
What a magnificent defensive performance, a clean sheet against a top ten PL club is not to be sneezed at and bodes well for our future if we gain promotion. Pity our attack had the jitters today and missed several sitters, we should have been out of sight at HT.
-
Millwall did us a BIG favour today, Hull are catchable, we've gained 10 points on them in the last six games.

EFL to vote on extending the Championship playoffs
Charlie Wayman replied to badgerx16's topic in The Saints
Stupid bloody decision. -
Wolves, Burnley and Forest as rivals next season will mean no easy run to the title for us.
-
Neither Ipswich or Hull have been convincing this evening. Look very average teams. At least Ipswich are doing us a favour, 1-0 up and in added time. Ipswich's game management is appalling, too many hotheads - ffs just run it into the corner! Final minute corner to Hull, goalie up. Comes to nothing. All over 1-0
-
The biggest risk in fielding our first choice XI will be injury rather than fatigue. If, heaven forbid we were to lose Downes or Scienza for the run in, it would be curtains for our promo hopes. Personally I would go big for it on Sunday, our odds of reaching the play-offs are probably less than 10%, our odds of then beating Ipswich probably close to zero. In other words what will we have to remember this stuttering season by other than possibly a semi-final appearance?
-
That's the reality of our situation. All we can do is keep winning and hope that those two slip up on the run in. For both to do so is unlikely.
-
Romeu should get more minutes than he does. Still has a football brain and can tackle. He looked good for the 5 minutes he was given.
-
All we can do is win our games. Control the controllables as our dear Old Nigel used to say and let the rest sort themselves out.
-
So you tell us every time he plays.
-
Why would he change a winning team? He won't!

Is that March as in "We March On!" or March as in "The Ides of March"?
