  1. Oh come on sloths are quite interesting.
  2. Got to say that watching from the Itchen I never thought the Armstrong challenge looked a red at all, he was going for the ball and don't think there was any malice, yet to see it again in super slow motion but then again the game is played at speed. What did surprise me was that twice Broja was fouled when on the edge of breaking through and although both were international to stop a man getting clear neither were even spoken too.
  3. What a sad reaction all round. A club best us in a match and their fans celebrated. We must hate all other clubs, apart from maybe Hartlepool? I know the past owner broke the rules but so have many clubs, Middleborough, Bournemouth, Forest and many others, that does not mean I want those clubs to go out of existence. The fans of those clubs are innocent and Derby have had the points deducted, they will probably go down as cannot buy players are losing some they have and may lose the manager. Thankfully a lot have signed the petition but it's a free world so understand is some don't. But then don't look for help if we end up needing help.
  4. Not really that's why I added the opening bit. I just don't want to see any club go out of business because of the actions of some dick of an owner. They will get relegated this season and I feel 21 points is enough. As for that game I was there and it hurt, I was with the relatives and friends and never bought a drink for the next couple of days. Not sure we would have been any different if we had won, also I think we have done better in the aftermath.
  5. Sorry last post so will try to answer. They may have a point and all their fans that I know accept that the previous owner did things that were wrong, for that they got a points deduction them another for going into admin 21 in total. I think the point is more punishment will not help to get them out of the financial situation they are in, which as usual is not the fault of the fans, the people responsible have left, Derby will be relegated, can't buy any players and having to lose players. So is it fair to keep punishing or should the league be trying to make sure teams survive in some form.
  6. It seems that a couple of other clubs, particularly Middleborough and Wycombe have it in for then and keep moaning to the league. Most rams fans I talk to accept the 21 points but every time they make progress they get threatened with more sanctions and it is now putting potential investors off. Now threatened if they do not have a plan by end of month could be liquidated.
  7. Hi, I know some on here do not like Derby but my in laws are from Derby and the brother in law is a big rams fan and season ticket holder. I have been there numerous times and although they all know me as a Saint we always have a great time and some real good banter. This season they have already had 21 points deducted and now the EFL are threatening more sanctions which could result in liquidation. They are a club very similar in size and history to us so I ask that you all look at the petition below and sign it, if a club this size can go under them we are all at risk. Please sign to help fellow fans that are all part of the football family and a very nice bunch. https://chng.it/mbrP5ss7 Thanks Bob
  8. Got to say that Ralph again got the formation right with the players we had available. Keep it going, think he may have changed a bit this year, also right subs at the right time. Big shout out to the machine that is JWP, amazing that now he is fully fit he is back to his best.
  9. Must admit he did not do much but do feel slightly sorry for him. Last game he gets moved to left wing with team down to ten men for a lot of the game and played very well there. This game, down to ten men he comes on at right wing, and we won. It is hard for him to show his worth in those situations and if Long had played a decent ball he probably gets a goal.
  10. Hi, I have been one to point out Ralph's failings, after Sunday I did praise h on the Ralph thread and will do the same today. What most of us wanted was flexibility and picking the correct formation for the players available. He did that Sunday and again today. I also today also shows up those who always say 'what can be do with this squad' as the depth today showed that it has improved greatly.
  11. Fair play to him today, changed the formation to combat the opposition and get the best out of our players and it worked. Hope he keeps doing it.
  12. Should be given one of the 'forever saints' awards.
  13. So just to be sure then, Ralph is not to blame for transfers. Ralph team selection is dictated by lack of good players. Ralph's tactics don't lose us games, that is down to individual player mistakes. Ralph is not there to take the blame. So what does he get paid for?
  14. You really do have a blind spot don't you, the game is not played on a spreadsheet, we have a manager who picks the team and tactics that routinely fail, he must take at least some of the blame or why have a manager at all
  15. So still think it was just the keeper to blame not the other ten players or, God forbid, the manager and tacticsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  16. Nail head hit. This is his job see the squad we have a find a way of getting the best out of it. Not shoehorn the players into a system not suited to then.
  17. A lullπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  18. So players coming back who have played throughout our great form and playing the same formation will solve the problems???
  19. We struggled when they all played.
  20. Got to say I agree with this mainly as to keep doing the same thing and expect different results is surely madness.
  21. Exactly, play a formation to suit the players we have and cover for gaps/weaknesses. After all this time he must be running out of excuses for the same shit week after week.
  22. I don't know how anyone can defend this. Keeps making the same errors. Time to go in afraid.
  23. Thought the first half was as good as we have been for a while. I think it's time to give Tino a rest, I also think that was Armstrong's worst game, never got into it. I think we need to rethink keeping everyone back at corners, cost us the first goal as the ball just came straight back at is. We also need to get tougher/cleverer, loads of times they broke up or attacks with fouls, that the crap referee never punished, we really need to start doing this someone should have taken Madison out on his run up field. Lastly buy a new keeper in Jan please.
  24. So we lost the game due to a couple of GK errors, but also dominated possession and missed chances. Did they not also contribute to the loss?
  25. Wow, so glad the club don't give up like you, every match can be won and Ralph had admitted that he messed up and the setup did not give the team the chance it needed. Seems it's only you who thinks otherwise. (Last post)
