How do you know that, time may prove you right, it might not. Cannot base that view on one friendly game. I have seen lots of great partnerships get torn to bits in odd games.

Think we need to give the current partnership time, also need to replace Vesty, but center halves work in pairs and sometimes two average players gel and form a great partnership. I think Stephens and Yoshi were good together whereas neither were brilliant.

Very much this his inability to react to other teams changes costs us so many points, cannot afford, at this level, to stick so stubbornly to one system.

Exactly this our two tens do very little, they are meant to be the creative engine of the team but most are simply not good enough. If Ralph insists on sticking to playing with two of them out is an area we desperately need more/some quality.

What rubbish, there are only 18 jobs that could be available in the prem, which is a league most managers want a crack at, some of those 18 will not be available so very few changes to get a job in this league. Most managers who fancy a go in the prem would jump at any available job.

I am saying that he would be better as a wingback than a center half played as a fullback. If you think that Ralph being wedded to his 4:2:2:2 which relies on mobile forward thinking fullbacks and using immobile center halves at right back is the way to go then we just have to disagree. I think he needs to look at formations that suit the available players.

Absolutely this, first sign of madness is doing the same thing again and again when it's not working. We have no right back, I think Valery would have been good as a wing back, so why keep trying to play with one. Newcastle down to nine, keep paying it about in front of them.
