  1. True, but ... You might also think of the Villa game as a "must-win" because they are right above us the standings (with only one more point than us). If we beat them, it gives us a bit more breathing space.
  2. When you see the next three teams that are coming up on the fixture list for the rest of January, the Villa game certainly looks like a must-win to me! Hard to see us getting too many other points this month!
  3. In his extended pre-game interview a few days ago (available on Saints Player), Adkins said that Ramirez's dead leg injury was on the other leg - not the same leg as the previous injury.
  4. Just need to read posts 29, 30, 31!
  5. I'm not a huge Bowie fan - my favourites are Ziggy Stardust ... , Low and Heroes.
  6. Interesting theory, but the name of the club should start with a capital letter, no?
  7. Saints Player back. Six minutes into the game. Is it gonna be one of those days?
  8. Saints Player cuts out just before kick-off.
  9. Saints Player begins seven minutes before kick-off for a home game? Why?
  10. Can't hear Saints Player, yet. Does anyone else have it on?
  11. Former-Saint scores againts us - typical!!
  12. Saints Player - where the f**k are you?
  13. Saints Player cutting in and out.
  14. Took a knock, last game.
  15. Come on, Saints! Saints Player down, already!!
  16. Psychedelic Pill - Neil Young and Crazy Horse Slipstream - Bonnie Raitt Old Ideas - Leonard Cohen
  17. Assuming that you're actually serious about this, may I ask who appointed you Chief Inspector of the Fashion Police? And when you use the phrase "embarrasing us ...", who is this "us"?
  18. The OP did not mention having to teach this to a ten-year old.
  19. Nice! I teach this stuff to 12 year olds every year. Not too much more advanced for a smart 10 year-old.
  20. The key is equivalent fractions. 1) Equivalent fractions: multiply both terms (numerator and denominator) of the fraction 3/4 by 25 and you get 75/100. [And by the reverse process, divide both terms of the fraction 75/100 by 25 and you get the equivalent fraction of 3/4.] 2) Decimal numbers are decimal fractions; so 0.75 is the same as 75/100. 3) Percentages (by definition) are out of 100; so 75/100 is the same as 75% (75 out of 100).
  21. Well, there you are. Your condescending attitude reflects the fact that NOTHING will convince you. You've already made up your mind. That's the way conspiracy-theorists work. By the way - what was Apollo 13 all about, then?
  22. Check out this website, which has lots of information about third-party (non-NASA, non-US government) evidence of the Apollo missions to the Moon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-party_evidence_for_Apollo_Moon_landings Key evidence: dating of Moon rocks (via hundreds of independent experiments) puts then 200 million years older than any rocks ever found on Earth; and independent data received from laser light fired at reflectors on the Moon - reflectors that must have been placed there by astronauts.
  23. And did you check out the Bad Astronomy website (Phil Plait)?
  24. Are you aware that there were radio telescopes (independent of NASA) in Australia that tracked Apollo spacecraft flights to the Moon (trans-lunar injections)? Primary evidence from a non-NASA agency.
  25. Spanish - very useful and relatively easy.
