So thats (hopefully) two this week - with a CB and a striker to be the main targets. I'm assuming then that Murty will not count if he signs this week as he is neither a CB or a striker.

I don't think he said that now did he - more along the lines of ML wouldn't have been interested if Cortese wasn't going to be part of the board room following the takeover.

The gates are generally lower at the start of the season due to holidays etc anyway but as you say it will depend on how the team are doing.

Hmmm - There has always been speculation (every close season) re Trundle and Saints. I think he'd do a job for us.

Just been looking at a few of the other threads where there is talk of a top 2 (or not) finish for Saints. Personally I think its a bit to early to say who is going to finish where especially as I really have never followed the form of most L1 teams. So a genuine question - who's your money on to finish top 2.
