Be nice to get reports from these games. Love to hear people's views on guys like Targett and Stephens
-
Great news, becoming a very good premiership midfielder, hopefully we can stay up this year and get some more talented players around him
-
Linked in the Sun this morning with moves to Italy - might be a good move for him, wish we'd have got Sissoko. Awesome yesterday
-
Having seen the game today live you can see the rest of the team panic when he comes on, they KNOW he's not good enough. Jos esp. Needs the comfort of a good LB
-
His diving is laughable, the one in the box today was horrendous, Newcastle fans near me were ****ing themselves, embarrassing

Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
JoeShmoe replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Newcastle are a good side, they won't be down there for long. Cabaye, Tiote and Sissoko are very good players, better than what we have When it went to 2-2 we were dominating but game changed as soon as Shaw went off. Agree about Punch, he should be playing every week, and Ramirez doesn't seem to fit in at all, neither this or that. I'd sell him in the summer and get the money back -
Watching Fox live and he really is dreadful, you can see Jos and Maya constantly looking towards him. Out of position constantly
-
We don't have an outlet ball
-
At the game, we are being outmuscled and outfought here, they are pressing, giving us no time and we are decidly second best Cork and Morgan in the middle are being owned by Cabaye and Tiote and Sissoko is tearing Clyne a new one. Up front Lallana and JRod not in the game at all, I'd bring punch on at least
-
Game by game as they say, I thought we were doing quite well pre Xmas then we were utterly ****e against a **** poor Sunderland team
-
From experience the minute he finds girls, beer and puff life changes, these days that will be next week if he's twelve . It was at least 14 at Wildern in the 80's
-
Jimmy Greaves hit the nail on the head, like any addict you have to have the will and determination to stop and you have to fight that each and every day For Gazza it won't be drying our now in the US it will be hen he's back sitting for days on end on his Todd in a flat in Bournemouth Wish a club could get him involved in youth coaching or some such, give him something to get up for
-
I'll be there, home end though, with my lad
-
What are his strengths this lad? Is he tall, strong, quick, clever?
-
Might have to go but sit in the home end, got mates who are ST holders there who aren't going
-
I can't stop looking at the league table!!
-
He looks like a top quality prem keeper right now!
-
I don't agree tbh, in the first half of the Man U game Ramirez did nothing, it's the closing down from the front that means Morgan and Cork aren't overrun. Davis has worked his socks off pressing in defence and being a good point of attack - he's been a difference maker I think the last few weeks Saying that I'd Ramirez gets fit and can play the high tempo MP wants he can be that player but he's got a lot to do right now
-
Agreed, and its nice to see as obviously a good guy but he was all over the place early in the season but like others has really come on since Xmas
-
Agreed, Davis has made a big difference since he's played that role as his work rate is outstanding
-
Yes it's interesting how players like Hooiveld, who are limited, are playing with a lot more confidence, not sure if that's coaching,,experience of playing in the league, better players around them (Yoshida) or a combination of all 3 but the defensive confidence transmits to the rest of the team as well, allowing them to play better as a result
-
Big mention for Davis too, he was SO much better in that role than Ramirez, closing down, finding space and being in the right place to score Cant see how MP can change that 3 now given how well JRod, Davis and Punch played plus Adam looked great when he came on. Ramirez suddenly looks a spare wheel
-
The prem don't want the league over in February
-
Taking the **** out of the champions, wow, how far have we come!
-
Watched the spurs game earlier, our fans are much much better
