If he'd had as many chances as Adams did become he came "good" (by which I mean slightly less bad) he may have done something. You can't judge him on 5 minute cameos when the team had given up in the game anyway. I only remember him having two actual games. Chelsea away which he was very good and Fulham at home which admittedly he was shocking. I still think he'd have been a better option in this league than Adams.

Redknapp's heart may not have been in the job as a whole but that day it was. He went absolutely mental in his post match interview and even if he had no other day where he was passionate about the job, he was on that one day.

Badboysaints was a strange one I spoke to him at length in my youth where he confessed to being a neo-Nazi (which is silly since neo-Nazi's wouldn't actually confess to that). Last thing I remember was someone calling him fat boy, him shaking with anger, puffing out his cheeks like some kind of lizard warning off predictors and being carried out of St Mary's, disappearing into the background with everyone cheering, like Miss Trunchball at the end of Matilda. Another memory was him claiming he'd spit on Alan Ball's grave and saying he was going to scream "SKATE BASTARD" during the silence we had for him, only to just bow his head and observe it like a normal person. Hope he's sorted himself out though, I think he was/is roughly the same age as me which would put him in his early-mid 30's now so there's every chance he may have turned it around.

No - He just isn't very good at football. One decent season at this level with Birmingham and that's it. Don't even get this "he puts a shift in" thing either. One of the laziest players I've seen in a Saints shirt in recent times. I honestly don't think Che even likes football. It's probably that he just happened to be good at it (compared to your average person) and decided to take it up as a career. A bit like David Bentley admitted after he'd retired.
