Bazunu's distribution even last season was excellent IMO. Yes there were passes that didn't go exactly where he wanted them to but that's true of any keeper.

But he gets blamed for goals that no keeper could have got to so surely he should be given praise for doing what he's expected to do?

Wasn't sure where to post this but Lallana is at the training ground as we speak. His son is actually in the Saints academy which I didn't know. Also Tony Pulis' grandson is there (no idea whether he is in our academy or the opposition academy or even if they have opposition games at that age or if it's just training)

How come when a player is doing poorly, the critism outweighs the praise when they do better? This seems to be a general sport thing in general.

Yes, that routine with Butterfield or Richardson floating it into the back post onto Lambert to cushion a header down to Lallana or Sharp was gold. It's something we did week after week and yet the opposition very rarely had an answer for it.

So was Butterfield. Though I think KWP is better than both individually, I think I'd trade KWP for the choice of Butterfield OR Richardson

Last night's PL game between Luton and Burnley was the first time ever that all 22 starting players were not born when the PL came into existence! As old as I feel now, I am somewhat surprised it's taken this long for that stat to happen.

Them down the road have a complex about us. They're more bothered about us than their own team. If we'd played a regular league game and won on the day they won the FA Cup, I honestly think it would have put a downer on it for them.
