Good luck to him. Great pro. Before anyone says it, no he wasn't underrated. When fans, commentators and other players constantly bang on about how "underrated" someone is, it usually means they're actually rated pretty highly.

Outstanding player at this level. Not even just the goals, the way he chases lost causes, runs the channels and tracks back. Never understood why anyone was bothered about losing Adams. I can't see him getting a look when Stewart is fit.

Go and look at the thread in the lead up to when he was being appointed. "Another nobody" etc. No doubt he'll soon be asked to "do the right thing and resign" - That bit is always my favourite.

The crowd turned on the manager before he was even appointed.

He got them from League Two to that position. Mean Adkins didn't do very well then because Poch finished higher. But then Koeman finished higher than Poch so guessing he was a failure too.

That's just not true though is it? Particularly not of Jones. You'd have to be a bit simple to suggest that Jones didn't work wonders at Luton.

It's the classic "go to" for football fans. None of those men were "the cheap option" like everyone says they were. Players in a good spell of form are "underrated", no manager anywhere in the country has a "Plan B" and if any transfer target is not signed, regardless of circumstance, the board have "no ambition" - All lazy terms used by football fans when things aren't going well.
