Few beers at new Spoons in Waterloo can’t temper my disappointment no way was this a 3-1 game. Fans tried hard today to get behind the team so obviously outclassed by standard and cost of players compared to ours. How do you go from not playing to starting Manning but he was one of our best players today didn’t put a foot wrong. Defensively tried so hard competed every set piece, cannot fault players today gave everything. TP gave us the focal point we have needed. Fernandez will be some player, my one criticism is on Downes who when presses leaves us open as he is the only holding player and back four exposed we don’t need him to press just stay solid. I never normally talk about away stewards but looking for trouble that wasn’t there had to get involved twice from mainly same one with chip on shoulder picking on mate and son who did nothing. Decent performance today considering but long season and we will need to get points soon

I have no idea but they did going from Ralph to Jones. i agree with the rest of post exactly how I feel want him to succeed but fear he won’t and why ABK isn’t playing annoys me he is probably the best standard defender we have. We have no focal point a 6ft 7 striker would give us that but no let’s stick to what is failing.

Very true but I just want to see us win and compete, last year was brilliant. Away games were fun and could go believing we could win, The prem is the holy grail for money but it’s now rich man’s play thing not for fans. My mate is a Brummie fan and loving it in league 1 after years of struggling. A fan just wants to see team play good football and win.

So at times last night we played some good stuff - however the tempo and passing among defence was ridiculous at times. Is that because we dont have a focal point or outlet? There were several occasions we had players in space up the left yet went backwards from 30 yards out with it back to McCarthy. Can there be such a thing as too much possession? Never thought I would say it but missing Che hold up play despite how bad he was at it we did have someone there.
